I have to agree with the Bee Bee fans that are REALIST. As a Texas native, I’ve always been a hardcore fan of Bee. I have every album, been to concerts, etc. But as the years continue to pass, I get more disappointed in how far she continues to succumb to the demand of the industry rather than changing the game.
She is a beautiful person with incredible talent yet, recently her sex appeal has increased to a point of dissatisfaction. Her longevity will rely more on her God-given vocal talent and less on her sex appeal. Sex sells, and great marketing/PR works wonders…true enough, but sex doesn’t keep you at the top. There are beautiful artists that were once at the top, with the help of their body image, yet their vocals didn’t keep them there.
As a young adult (Graduate AND Law student), I’d appreciate if she covered up more. Looking back at her career, she should be proud that she conquered daring things, won countless awards, but not for “barely there” outfits. She’s going to be a “Legend” (ie. Oprah’s “Legends” and “Young’uns” one day for breaking records and assisting in paving the way for others…but what will she be remembered for? her talent…or how she looked?
And since you all are such hardcore Bee fans, I should say that I am as well. I admire others for creativly using their TALENT, so I would greatly appreciate it if you all didn’t attack me and/or result to name-calling.
