EVENT FAB: Alicia Keys Does LATIN Grammys+Precious Cast Hits NYC
Alicia Keys looked great in green at last night’s LATIN Grammys in Vegas:
She kicked it backstage with Eva Longoria and Alejandro Sanz after their performance as well. By the way, Alicia will have a sequel to “Empire State of Mind” w/ Jay-Z on her upcoming album.
And over in NYC, the cast of Precious had an umpteenth screening for the movie. The movie opens today in 18 theaters. This one was hosted by Tommy Hilfiger at the Crosby Street Hotel:
I see Paula’s bringin’ out the girls. A baby does a body good. She kicked it with director Lee Daniels and writer Sapphire.
And Colin Powell and Gabby S. were spotted at the afterparty.

I cannot wait 2 see Precious, such a powerful movie. Gabby’s doing her thang. I love AK’s green dress, but I would’ve picked a different color clutch, it’s a lil too matchy. Paula P. is glowing, she looks great as usual. I hardly ever see Colin Powell at “Black” events, so that’s really cool. I think Obama’s presidency made him remember who he is. Terrence stay looking GQed up. Take notes Fonzworth, this is how you look fresh & still look heterosexual.

The color compliments her complexion. I know the pictures do not show just how beautiful this dress is in fabric and color.

Alicia Keys has really grown into a beautiful woman. She has become very fashionable and stylish. The color choosen is perfect for her skin complexion and it not a traditional color.
Alejandro Sanz’s has a great husky voice which blends well with Alicia’s voice.
They both performed well together.

Alicia’s hair is very pretty. She has a brown tone to her hair which is very shiny.
She looks nice in the pictures and she probably looked better in person. She has the ability to blend in any environment which is a good thing.

I heard the movie is very good but depressing.
I am sure everyone on theybf will love Precious because many can relate to the hard cruelty Precious experiences from her mother and dad. Many people are much like their character.
The cast did a remarkable performance in the movie. Everyone looks beautiful. It is nice to see an all black cast. Hopefully, everyone will see the movie.

I don’t like A. Keys’ dress, sorry. It just looks uninspired and big. She doesn’t need to wear such a severe A-line unless she’s pregnant, and from the other pic it doesn’t look like she is.
OTOH we have a real pregnant woman in this post who took the extra time to get the heels, makeup and everything working. She knows she doesn’t have that much longer before she blows up, lol.
