Mike Tyson ARRESTED For Battery!
Mike Tyson FLOORED a paparazzo at LAX airport this evening! Reportedly, he was traveling with his 10 month old daughter when a pap got way too close to his face. Mike gave dude one good shot to the dome and blood was everywhere. Tyson was then arrested for battery. Here’s the lowdown:
We’re told Tyson was at a ticket counter at the United Airlines terminal when the incident occurred. The photographer got punched in the face, hit the ground, got up and began walking, leaving a trail of blood.
Someone at the scene tells TMZ … the photographer got very close to Tyson before the boxer struck him. Our guy on the scene says there’s blood on the ground and Mike was taken away in a squad car. We’re told an ambulance was dispatched at 4:39 PM to LAX — we’re told the paparazzo was transported to a local hospital.
If Tyson is prosecuted, given that he’s a former boxing champ, the charge could end up being assault with a deadly weapon.
UPDATE: Tyson’s rep says he was traveling with his 10-month old child when he was attacked by an overly aggressive paparazzi — adding the boxer acted in self-defense to protect his child.

They seriously need tougher laws against these paps! I am not condoning violence (especially gettin knocked the F out by a TYSON punch) but these paps always want to harrass celebrities, touch them or get too dang close, and then sue for battery when they are clearly in the wrong.
It just seems like there is always going to be an opportunity for these jerks to sue when they consistently cross the line.

I doubt many people feel sympathetic towards the annoying paparazzi. His job is to harass and stalk people and completely invade their privacy. This one got a little too close to the wrong person. If you ask me, someone got what he deserves!
I just really hope he doesn’t get a big fat settlement which will just encourage the stupidity and aggressiveness of his kind but he probably will get paid. Sigh.

Paps really need to be more respectful when people are with their children. If a guy with a camera gets close enough to you when your with you baby, what would you do? Celeb or not. There needs to be laws that protect celebrities against paps because they are getting bolder and bolder. Why does anyone need to be close enough to someone where they could knock them out unless you are standing in line somewhere. Even then you are supposed to give someone a little bit of space (I hate when people are all up on me at the grocery store).
And assault with a deadly weapon is ridiculous. Yes, he’s a boxer, so what. Its not like he’s some bruce lee and went all out ninja on that guy. He punched him, just like anyone could punch someone (with much more knockout power of course).
But just give the man space.

I see these paps and think how in the world could I deal with that invasion of privacy all the damn time!? I know, as a celebrity it comes with the territory, but those men be all up in peoples faces, flashing those cameras right in their eyes and they could care less about the children. I remember Julia Roberts was taking her kids to a fast food place and the paps were all around the car. She parked it, got out, and confronted them and made them get back. They were both arrested and both want to press charges against each other. Some witnesses back up Mike’s story, some back up the sleazy paparazzi dude. Either way, Mike will be OK. add to that the porn movies, and those may have taken place after the babies/ relationship…plenty of red flags here. if he’s famous and your a little young, your first step is a google search, include all the above terms. her face still looks even on both sides…good for her.
