Plese start getting wise to this game. I am in my fourties and I am taking a class in “Diversity and Oppression”. You would really be surprised at the things that are said about Bey.
In short,(the white students) believe that she is popular becasue she is making them money. They say that when she is no longer making money for them, that she will be a thing of the past. They also said that the most popular black people are light-skinned and are always taking their clothes off. They certainly have the right to their opinion, but it is very sad that this is true.

Who is known amongst the African American community but has never really broken into the commericial world. Kayne West with Estelle is another.

Yes Melanie Fiona does remind me of Amy Whinehouse….Amy just has sicker lyrics….fuget about that stupid song “Rehab” pick something like “Back to Black”, “Me and Mr. Jones”, “In my Bed”,.. Then listen To Melanie F Sing “Somebody Come Get Me” and “It Kills Me…She did a great radio show with Questlove in July… lasted about 45min to an hour and the music was stripped down made me really look forward to the Album release.

I like Dirty Money’s new single/video. I like that Puff is making people want to dance again. I think we need that again! I also love how he is bringing the old Bad Boy look and sound again. Bad Boy was huge in the 90s and its nice to see Diddy still doing his things regardless music, producing, fashion, vodka, movies, tv….he is doing his thing. I also think Dawn and Kaleena sound great! I am sure in the future they will go solo but for now I am enjoying DM and the Angels video was HOTT!!!

People have the nerve to question Beyonce’s intelligence, when someone in a supposed college course is discussing Beyonce in a “Diversity and Oppression” class, what fifth tiered school do you attend, because this is absurd. There is so many topics that you could discuss rather than talk about a popular artist that has nothing to do with the subject matter. And it’s such a shame that in this day and age blacks are still concerned with “what the folks think of us”. Who cares what these students think. Whether you like this entertainer or not I would hope that someone of color would combat this argument, and point out how silly it is to talk about this topic when there are so many things we are dealing with in the world, to just discuss colorism, and what role an etnertainer who sings and dances is playing in society. You in fact let them speak in a prejudice manner and dind’t speak up. How crazy is that.

It seems that competition in the music industry is getting fierce, Gaga’s new vid for Bad Romance is so edgy and new, Britney got a new vid, Jay and keys got their hot vid for ‘Empire State of Mind’ and even C.Brown and Rihanna have new vids out, competition is so fierce and that’s probably why Bey had to get Gaga in cos Gaga is on everyone’s mind at the mo. so this will get her more attention and sales probably, I love Bey and I wn’t lie Gaga’s voice is very good as well as her originality!
