Back in September, everybody (including Keyshia’s manager Manny) denied that Keyshia Cole was pregnant. All despite this Preggers Watch post we did on September 17th that clearly showed the beginning of her baby bump during her appearance at a Wal-Mart. But it looks like she can’t hide it anymore.
This weekend she and her Cavalier boyfriend Daniel “Boobie” Gibson gave away turkeys and a bag of groceries to families at Bethany Baptist Church in Cleveland. And when she got up to speak, her hand placement and thick belly definitely give way to a pronounced baby bump. These pics are from the event.
Not sure how much longer she’s going to hide away from the red carpet and public events. But I’m sure she and her soon to be baby daddy Boobie will be having a “secret” baby shower soon. Wonder if she hit up her sis Neffe for birthing advice. She’s an expert by now. Even though Key Key and Boobie haven’t confirmed, congrats to the couple anyway….

I’m from Cleveland and yes she’s pregnant. Her camp didn’t want anyone to know until she couldn’t hide it any longer. She just bought a house in the Cleveland area so she could be closer to Boobie. They are really cute though. She’s at all the basketball games. I’m so happy for them and for her getting away from her attenion hungry family.

I couldnt see it at first but after the second/third look it’s apparent. She is pregnant. Congrats to her. Shes a down chic and I love me some Keyshia, she’s mad real. I wish her the best. Congrats to her she seems happy…but i think its a little ridiculous that these celebs consider baby making like one of their fashion trends. They start dating a dude and 2 months later they come out pregnant as hell and then they break up 3 months after that..i don’t get it. i really hope for the kids sake that everything works out.

Nobody’s perfect? It seems like Black people are less perfect that everyone else in America. More than 70% of our children are born out of wedlock. Why? It’s not like we don’t believe in marriage. Something like 90% or more of Black Americans identify as Christians.
Something’s up, and while I can’t profess to know the reason Blacks aren’t getting married, I’m inclined to believe it might relate to Black women lowering their expectations of Black men (i.e. simply having a man is enough).
I mean just moving in together for Black women is enough to signify that “he will be around forever.” Black women aren’t requiring men to go the step further and make a concrete commitment to them. Maybe it’s fear of losing him through pressure, no woman wants to pressure a man out of their lives, but … being submissive and going w/ the flow has yet to lead Black women (who generally desire to get married more than men) to the alter.
I feel like w/ the lowered expectations of Black man, and the assumption that there are not enough good Black men to go around (supply and demand), Black men are holding all the cards, and aren’t seeing any reason to change.
Especially when many men presently view marriage as a form of unjust enrichment for women. “Why get married so she can take me for half in the divorce?” (although these men don’t have half of anything to take)
Maybe men aren’t getting married b/c they also have a fear of the unknown, if they weren’t raised in a household where their parents were married, they might not understand it, and therefore are afraid of it… I dunno.
I just know Black people aren’t getting married, and Keyshia Cole getting the baby carriage before the marriage is pretty typical in the Black community.

You cant tell in the pictures but if yall look at the video as soon as they walk in you can clearly see her belly she showin and she even puts her hand on her belly. So yeah shes defintley pregnant, congrads is all I have to say.
