There’s been a few updates in the Chris Henry case. Folks were wondering what type of domestic dispute could have possibly happened to the newly engaged couple for it to end in a fatal way. And internet reports claim that Chris and Loleini were fighting about the cost of their March wedding.
They had gone to see the North Carolina wedding planner the day before Chris died and apparently things were getting out of control. Chris allegedly was overheard going off about why they were paying so much money for things (their papers are here) and was very annoyed and aggravated.
And here’s the 911 call. Sounds like Loleini knew Chris was on the back of the truck she was driving since he was supposedly beating on the window before he fell off. And that little fact could lead to possible homocide charges for Loleini.

Katt’s getting sued by his former assistant Jacqueline Gutierrez. She claims she was not paid for the 10 months she worked with Katt on the road. And now that he’s been cracking jokes on her, she’s taking it to court. According to documents obtained by TMZ:
Gutierrez also claims she had to pay all of her own expenses during the tour — including food and lodging — and racked up huge bills in the process.
Gutierrez claims she’s owed $100,800 in wages, $32,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, $58,645 in hotel bills and on and on — a grand total of $232,645.

I feel very bad for the kids that they have together. But I do think that she needs to serve some type of jail time.

On the 911 call frm the woman following the truck. Said he was holdn on to the truck bed, bamming on the window, so of course tht bitch knw he was on there. 4 her to say he jump out the damn truck is bogus. A witness also heard him say that if she didn’t stop the truck so that they could talk, he would jump out and kill himself. Don’t be so quick to judge/hate on her when he made the choice to jump in the truck. Furthermore, if you understand that what you speak out of your mouth is what comes to pass…then there you have it. This didn’t have to happen. But it is not her fault. He should have just let her go and blow off steam.

Thank you! I read that article too. I really am annoyed with instant hate for this woman without any information. And sorry but it sounds very suspect that he was on the back of the truck- shirtless and beating on the window. How she is the bad guy in this is beyond me? Contrary to initial reports the police say his fiance did stop the vehicle and try to help him when he fell/jumped out. This man obviously had mental issues that have been brushed off for years as him being some product of the “hood”. Whether he jumped or was in a rage and chasing her down, this just highlights the need for appropriate mental health assessment and care and the need to eliminate the stigma in the black community.
At the end of the day people shouldn’t be so quick to judge a situation when they have so little facts.

I totally agree with Come Off It about unaddressed mental health issues in the black community being masked as “hood behavior”. However, I can’t beleive she was being attacked, as he had no weapon. I know fists can be deadly weapons, but one of his was in a cast, making him somewhat compromised. Also, the eyewitness who heard him threaten to jump has no credibility with me. She was driving erratically and I don’t believe he would endanger his NFL contract (after being given a highly criticized second chance) to jump off of a speeding, swerving truck. I want to wait for the toxicology reports and hopefully she was given a breathalyzer. It was reckless on both parts, but the driver should have slowed down and driven to the police station. This is a manslaughter charge, IMHO, even if it is in the 3rd degree.

Totally agree with About it! If my fiance was on the back of the truck I would not have waited until he fell off of it to stop. I would have pulled over immediately and called the police for assistance that was immature of her to keep driving be erratically or not while he was on the back of that truck so sad it cost him his life

I don’t know who’s at fault for Chris’ death but the end result is that he is dead over something that was silly. I can’t stand hearing about people dying over stupid sh*t! Yes, I’ve been in some heated arguments with ex-boyfriends. I would even say that I’ve been in a rage. I thank God that the rage felt in one moment didn’t result in a life or death situation. Leini is a dear friend of mine and she would never do anything intentionally to hurt Chris. She loved him and obviously has stuck by his side through thick and thin. She shouldn’t have to do time in jail at all because she didn’t kill him point blank. She’s a GREAT person, loving, and fun. No one wanted this to happened especially not her!! Stop defending her. You are actually assisting the DA in building a manslaughter case against her. By stating that she would never intentionally hurt Chris, you are implying that she might very well accidentally would hurt him. By saying that she shouldn’t have to do jail time because she didn’t kill him “point blank”, you are implying that a criminal act occurred, but leniency should be considered.
By the looks of the tire tracks over the front yard, she was going to hurt someone with that truck that day and it happened to be the father of two of her kids.
