Its hillarious to me that I keep coming back to this site to check out news, and end up defending Rihanna. But I find it fun too. So here goes.
i)Rihanna was never about the voice. She was the song and dance girl. So claiming she cant sing by comparing her to, I dont know, Beyonce maybe, is like comparing apples to oranges. You dont compare Madonna to Aretha do you? Rihanna has her niche, and she does extremely well in her category..she doesnt need to be anybody else. If you dont like her, don’t listen to her. Very easy.
I like that interview. She’s a young girl enjoying what is available to her. Having fun. Changing looks and etc. At least, she is never boring. IF she was, most wont be hatin’ on her anymore.

Her album might not sell as well as her last, which I think defjam had expected because Rated R is not very commercial, but it was an excellent album..like Janet’s Velvet Rope sort of. But she’s a star, so a new album with commercial material would easily cover what theyve spend on this one.
