Alicia Keys looked great in green at last night’s LATIN Grammys in Vegas:
She kicked it backstage with Eva Longoria and Alejandro Sanz after their performance as well. By the way, Alicia will have a sequel to “Empire State of Mind” w/ Jay-Z on her upcoming album.
And over in NYC, the cast of Precious had an umpteenth screening for the movie. The movie opens today in 18 theaters. This one was hosted by Tommy Hilfiger at the Crosby Street Hotel:
I see Paula’s bringin’ out the girls. A baby does a body good. She kicked it with director Lee Daniels and writer Sapphire.
And Colin Powell and Gabby S. were spotted at the afterparty.
The Carters were looking happy, dapper, and fabulous at tonight’s MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin. And we’ve got the red carpet and performance pics from the night:
Jay kept it casual while there was a gorgeous red carpet look for Beyonce.
And her red hot performance look was straight out her bedroom stash. Work it out then chick…
I’m actually loving Leona Lewis‘ bold but elegant look as well.
And Lil Kim…
Was Lil Kim. Gotta love her.
Here’s B’s “Sweet Dreams” performance from the tonight:
And then she thanked Jay for “putting a ring on it.” Funny funny…
Here’s more pics of celebs and such at the Georgia World Congress Center at last night’s Soul Train Music Awards. Y’all know Ray-J was getting fresh with folks.
Tiny and her daughter were there.
Gorgeous change up for Taraji. Still smh at Debra…
And Trey Songz brought moms as his date.
Over at the afterparty at Luda’s restaurant Straits, Toni Braxton kicked it with her hubby.
YBF hit the 2009 Soul Train Music Awards red carpet and show last night in Atlanta. It was an overall feel of positivity and musical fabness. And we’ve got 100+ exclusive pics of YBF celebs making their arrivals. The hosts Taraji P. Henson (rocking the hot new Jimmy Choo bootie/sandals) and Terrence Howard made nice on the carpet.
Letoya Luckett looked fabulous in her silver Herve Leger dress.
Keisha Knight-Pulliam pulled off a chic and sophisticated all black look. Nice.
The ATL Housewives made an appearance of course:
A leather dress though Lisa?
The Holy Trinity of real R&B singers hit the carpet. Kelly Price, Tamia, and Deborah Cox are all touring together right now and looked fabulous on the carpet.
And Tommy Davidson is still a fool for dressing like Bootsy Collins (who was also on the red carpet) after Halloween.
TheYBF.com was on the scene at last night’s Soul Train Music Awards in Atlanta. And we caught up with Miss Keri Baby–who was looking fabulous in Dolce & Gabbana–about her upcoming album. She says she’s super excited about it. Even though she can’t just yet put a finger on what the big difference is between it & her debut album In A Perfect World. We’ll be waiting Keri…
By the way, the Soul Train Awards first timer Keri performed a medley of her songs for the show. And let’s just say it was sexilicious…
“I’m not even thinking about music right now. I just love being a Mommy. I’ve actually just been focusing on my business. I have a program that works with mentally challenged adults, an etiquette school & a beauty salon.”
Interesting.
Self proclaimed YBF stan Derek J chatted us up on the red carpet. And despite being Foolywang of the Week a few times, he loves repping for the “boys in heels”:
“My salon was responsible for most of the looks tonight–from the talent to the dancers. I gotta do it up ten times as much as sistahs since I’m a “boy in heels.” I gotta go that extra mile to stay Fabulous.”
YBF celebs came out this weekend for the 4th annual Black Girls Rock! Awards in NYC. AND YBF was on the scene to take in the fabness. Tracee Ellis Ross–who hosted alongside Regina King–made her arrival in a fabulous embellished cut out back dress and YSL pumps.
Raven Symone was there looking fab and to receive the “Young, Gifted, and Black” Award herself.
MJB was also an award recipient of the “Icon” Award.
And so was Naomi Campbell who received the “Fashionista” Award. Looking fab in Alexander Wang Na Na.
Forest and Keisha Whitaker hit the red carpet for the Where The Wild Things Are premiere last night in NYC. Forest was nice enough to match his shoes to his wife’s dress.
YBF folks hit up the Fox Reality Really Awards last night in Hollywood:
Vivica Foxx played host in this fab black gown.
T.O. and his girls Mo and Kita were there too. Nice.
And here in D.C., Tatyana Ali and Anthony Mackie kicked it at The Park on 14th this past weekend. Fun times.
