DIVA BEEF.  Rih Rih and MiMi are supposedly at odds over Rihanna not speaking to Mariah at Mariah’s own Halloween party at M2 Ultra Lounge. There were about 1000 people at MiMi the Angel’s party so she didn’t necessarily know every single person who was there.  However, Rih knew who’s party she was going to and never made her way over to speak out of respect.  She stayed in her booth with Ne-Yo and others. Here’s what a source at the party reported:

“It was Mariah’s party, but Rihanna didn’t want to be seen with her. And Mariah was not going over to greet Rihanna. Mariah needed six guards to clear a path to the bathroom so her wings wouldn’t be dislodged.”

Mariah’s people say:

“There were 1,000 people there and, of course, she needed security. She heard a rumor that Rihanna was there but she never saw her. She loves Rihanna and of course would have said hello.”

So there’s an uproar in Texas right now that’s getting national attention. Dallas Cowboy cheerleader Whitney Isleib is in the midst of Halloween drama after posting FB pics of her in blackface. She says she was dressed as Lil Wayne.

Some folks say it was in poor taste-esp. as she is in a public position as a Cowboy cheerleader (I watch that reality show of the chicks trying to make the team and the Cowboys Cheerleader organization is extra strict). Others say it was just all in fun and they don’t see a prob with it. Your thoughts?

LisaRaye was recently in the Neighborhood with Big Boy and Co. And she revealed at the end of her “visit” that she can’t speak on Rocsi “allegedly” cheating with her soon to be ex-husband for legal reasons…but she will say she’s not the one who invited Rocsi to her and her then husband’s house. Womp. Lisa said she didn’t even know Rocsi and her husband–the former Premiere of Turks and Caicos Michael Misick–knew each other. She saw homegirl in pictures that were taken at their home. And the rest was written. Damn homie.

Lisa also said she’ll be revealing everything as soon as legal preceedings are over.

It’s like Groundhog’s Day with DMX and the police. Here’s video of X getting to a serious scuffle with the cops in Colorado Springs, CO this weekend.

Here’s what went down: DMX was scheduled to perform at 9pm last night. However, he didn’t show up to the venue until after 11pm. Likely due to ordinance and noise curfews…or maybe because they just said so…X couldn’t take the stage. The police attempted to prevent X, his chick, and his crew from entering the venue where the crowd was and from going on stage because they were hella late. X got all the way to the stage and was being physically pulled between his camp and 5-0. A riot damn near occurred in the crowd. No word yet on how this ended. Foolery was ensuing though….

EDIT: Some folks are reporting that the club promoter set DMX up to be late.

Damn homie. NFL baller Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson has been accused of writing bad checks to women in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York , Miami and New Orleans. We’re told most of the girls are embarrassed to confront him about the checks…until recently. A woman named Courtney Collins put Mr. Johnson on blast via Twitter and she wants everyone to know about it. She said:

“Who knew people of his caliber wouldn’t have money in a bank account to cover a check that was written by Mr. Chad Johnson.”

Is Chad just stopping payments to these chicks he’s been writing checks to as payment for their “company”? Or is homeboy just passing out these hot checks to the unsuspecting women? Either way…WTF material indeed.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys are set to perform at the 2009 American Music Awards.   They’re hitting the stage to do “Empire State of Mind”.  The Awards air Nov. 22nd on ABC.  No “hip hop holy ghost catching” allowed.

On a side note, Jay is also set to perform at the European Music Awards as well.

Fantasia had a charity event this weekend and she was filmed singing a melody of songs for her guests with her equally talented brothers. She hosted a dinner party at her home in Charlotte, NC in alliance with Macy’s Feeding America campaign, This may be a part of her upcoming reality show as well.
