As we reported yesterday, Beyonce cut the ribbon today to officially open the Beyonce Cosmetology Center as part of the Phoenix House rehab center in Brooklyn. MaMa Tina was on hand with her daughter to celebrate the brand new start of the training program for those rehab participants.
Beyonce donated the funds (her entire salary from the Cadillac Records film) to start the center for those who are ready to learn a vocation/trade in cosmetology.

The Carters got Presidential and took over the White House yesterday. Before Hov and co. hit the stage at the Verizon Center in D.C. last night (check out our recap here), he and his wifey Beyonce, mother in law Tina, Trey Songz, and Trey’s manager Kevin Liles all visited President Obama’s house.
Mr. President wasn’t pictured, but they got to take flicks in his offices anyway.

Last night was a night of fashion for the cause. Celebrity women hit the catwalk at Bryant Park for Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection 2010. The Heart Truth is a national campaign meant to raise awareness of the risk of heart disease and stroke in women. And top designers designed dresses specifically for this event.
