YBF chick Melanie Fiona rocked this cute look for last night’s Music Unites Empowering Women Through Music at the Cooper Square Penthouse in NYC. She performed for the crowd and was named the 1st female Ambassador for the Women Empowerment Initiative. Sweet.
Amber Rose partied it up last night at the Gen Art LA Fashion Alumni Celebration at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel. Rocking a tutuish skirt and her usual black sheer spandex style shirt.
And Estelle was the woman of the hour at the Women History Month Event with Senior Women Of MTVN last night. She performed at the MTV Offices to celebrate.

Oh…OK Kelis & Elgin Jr.

So Kelis hit the stage at Club 57 in NYC this past Saturday. And she got extra freaky with it while performing her new music. She was clearly really feeling the moment as she dropped it low and all. Chick even dropped into a split around the 15 second mark.
Club 57 has New York’s largest gay dance party every Saturday. So you know she was in there cutting up with her fans. Check it.

And here’s video of Ginuwine’s son Elgin Jr. going off about people hating on his freestyle game. Then he busts out some bars real quick for “the haters.” And he could have kept them. I’m still trying to figure out how I didn’t know he had a 17 year old son.

Fantasia Breaks Out Her Sunday’s Best For Jackie Robinson Foundation Event

WHY and HOW was this allowed? Fantasia was tapped to perform at the esteemed Jackie Robinson Foundation Event last night and she decided to rock a get-up even some strippers would pass over.
This just isn’t the place for this type of “dress” and look. Assuming there’s a place at all. Your voice is beautiful Fanny, but I can’t even focus on that if this is what’s hopping around the stage. Everyone’s fired.
By the way, this dress she’s rocking is from the Kardashian for Bebe line. Reason #4265 why everybody shouldn’t be a designer.

Whitney Sings To Birthday Girl Bobbi Kristina+Sade Performs At ECHO Awards

Whitney Houston stopped in the middle of her Adelaide, Australia show last night to sing Happy Birthday to her now 17 year old daughter Bobbi Kristina.
She surprised Kris with a cake on stage and sang her fave song “Who Would Imagine A King” from the Preacher’s Wife soundtrack.
Earlier in the week, Whit took B-K and her friends on a 4 hour boat ride around Sydney for some pre-birthday celebration. Fun times.

*UPDATED WITH VIDEO* D.C. Stage Crasher Lil Mama’s Jay-Z!

YBF was on the scene at last night’s BluePrint 3 tour stop at the Washington D.C. Verizon Center. And at the beginning of Jay-Z’s set, a crowd goer obviously thought he could be a better hype man than Memphis Bleek.

A short dude from stage left jumped over the yellow jacket security surrounding the stage, hopped his ass on the stage, and danced up to the middle where Jay and Bleek were like he belonged in the set too. Funniest.Ish.Ever.
Mr. Carter’s tall, bald, and burly (and scary) bodyguard Norm semi-nicely tried to get his ass off the stage. After dude tried to fight back, bodyguard literally bodied homeboy, yanked him up and tossed his ass down off the stage–a few feet drop down. Unreal yet hilarious.
Jay’s response: “So that’s how y’all doing it in D.C.? Cut that sh*t out. [insert Hov laugh]“

Celebs Pack Madison Square Garden & After Parties For Jay-Z’s BP3 Tour Stop

Hovie’s home. Jay-Z’s BP3 tour hit Madison Square Garden last night in NYC. He, Trey Songz, and Jeezy all shut it down. And Jay’s wife Beyonce and their celeb friends Lebron James, Drake, Michelle Williams, and many others afterpartied at the 40/40 club. There was a second after party at M2 as well.
By the way, Lil Wayne decided to make good use of his extra day of free time and hit the stage to do a surprise performance of “I’m Going In.” Ironic right? Also spotted at the concert: Gwyneth Paltrow, Diddy, Kanye West, Stephen Hill, QuestLove, Fabolous, Black Eyed Peas, and others.

RAP NEWS: Jay-Z, Jeezy, & Trey Songz Hit Atlanta+Guru Of GangStarr In A Coma

Jeezy and Jay headed to Atlanta Saturday night for the BP 3 tour after leaving New Orleans on Friday. Jeezy put on for his city and Jay shut it down as usual. More pics of them and Mr. Neverson when you read the rest.
Rap legend Guru of GangStarr was hospitalized after a massive heart attack yesterday. According to confirmed reports, he slipped into a coma and is having surgery today. So sad.
