Zoe Saldana traveled to her father’s hometown of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic this week for the Casandra Awards to accept the award for “Most Outstanding Artist Abroad”. Zoe looked fab in a chiffon peachy Amanda Wakeley Spring 2010 gown.
And Jennifer Lopez headed to the Awards and tv/movie presentations event over at ShoWest in Vegas yesterday. And she looked fantabulous in this chic and sexy silvery pencil skirt and charcoal blouse and belt. Shoes are hot too.

Jaden Smith is the star of the upcoming The Karate Kid movie remake. And he hit Paris in Las Vegas to do some promo and to accept his Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at the ShoWest convention. His acceptance speech:
“My dad prepared a speech for me with a bunch of funny stuff in it,” Jaden said to the audience . “But I’m 11 and I’m nervous, so thank you!”
Funny. Congrats to him.
And Terry and Rebecca Crews hit “106 & Park” to promote their new BET reality show “Family Crews.” I love these two.

The moms of some of your fave artists gave received an Atlanta Humanitarian Award in music and television. (l-r) T-Pain’s mother Aliyah Najm, Ne-Yo’s mom H. Loraine Smith, and Lil Wayne’s mom Jacida Carter were all recipients this past Sunday. The “Queens in our Communities” gala went down at Atlanta’s Historic Highland Inn & Ballroom and the ladies were spotted arriving. And I guess their “talk show” they have together and other service activities warranted this award.
Speaking of Weezy’s mom, her son is now a wanted man in Arizona. All because he couldn’t make his court date there yesterday. Why? Because he’s at this little thing called RIKERS ISLAND PRISON. Remember?

YBF chick Melanie Fiona rocked this cute look for last night’s Music Unites Empowering Women Through Music at the Cooper Square Penthouse in NYC. She performed for the crowd and was named the 1st female Ambassador for the Women Empowerment Initiative. Sweet.
Amber Rose partied it up last night at the Gen Art LA Fashion Alumni Celebration at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel. Rocking a tutuish skirt and her usual black sheer spandex style shirt.
And Estelle was the woman of the hour at the Women History Month Event with Senior Women Of MTVN last night. She performed at the MTV Offices to celebrate.
