Solange doesn’t have to be an extra in her big sister’s L’Oreal commercials anymore. She’s got her own cosmetics deal now.
Solo was just named as one of three new RIMMEL Cosmetics girls. She joins current RIMMEL spokeswoman supermodel Kate Moss and newbies actress Zooey Deschanel and model Alejandra Ramos Munoz as the beauty brand’s newest face.
“These three strong, successful and uniquely beautiful women will help ensure that Rimmel London’s image continues to be modern and globally relevant,” said Renato Semerari, president of Coty Beauty, which owns the Rimmel brand.
I’m sure she’ll make for a gorgeous spokesperson. Congrats to Solo.

Here’s the last roundup (we think) of celebs hitting the last Fall 2010 NY Fashion Week shows last night. This is also the last year Fashion Week will be held at Bryant Park. It will move to NY’s Lincoln Center next year:
Kerry Washington got fab for the front row of the Calvin Klein show yesterday. Pretty and simple look for her.
And YBF photographer Vinnet caught Chanel Iman leaving the Tommy Hilfiger show last night with her boo.

YBF was on the scene last night for the conclusion of NY Fall 2010 Fashion Week. YBF’s photographer Vinnet hit the Laura Smalls Fashion Presentation at the Plaza Hotel:
Whoopi Goldberg and Amber Rose snapping pics together now? Yep. We couldn’t get a good eavesdropping ear on their convo, but I’m sure it was one of interesting proportions.
And the consummate celeb stylist June Ambrose kicked it with her “haute pup” and Estelle front row.
