Lil Wayne has been behind bars in Rikers prison since Monday. And prison officials are giving the press details of Weezy’s life behind bars. According to People.com, “Inmate Carter is in a category of housing that we call ‘general population/escort,” meaning that he has a protective captain with him whenever he leaves his cell/day room.

NeNe’s PR folks just sent out this press release about her son Bryson’s arrest. It was titled “HOT ATLANTA HOUSEWIFE, NENE LEAKES, RELEASES STATEMENT ABOUT SON’S RECENT ARREST”. Here it is in full:
LOS ANGELES – NeNe Leakes from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” releases the following statement about the recent arrest of her son, Bryson Bryant:
“Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner. My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time.” – NeNe Leakes

Well we’ve seen this before. DMX went to court yesterday after getting arrested yesterday morning for who knows what for the umpteenth time. He was smart enough to wait till the judge left the room before he randomly started wilin’ out at folks:
“I’m the only one got arrested today … f**king c**ksuckers do it every time man … I get my rights violated but I gotta be quiet about it … f**king b*tch man.”
Get help. NOW.

Here we go again. ATL Housewife NeNe Leakes has her hands full with one of her sons Bryson. He just entered the Gwinnett County Detention Center within the last few days after copping two charges–possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and failure to appear. And that’s his mug shot above.
Bryson has a record so this isn’t the first time he’s gotten in trouble. And since NeNe hasn’t addressed this on Twitter–maybe she thought it would mess with her “image”–who knows how all this is going to turn out. She made a point to say she was on her way to NYC today to party it up. How nice….
DMX was just arrested AGAIN this morning in Arizona for the zillionth time. No joke. I see there’s some things he just couldn’t leave in ‘09. According to TMZ:
The details of the arrest are unclear — but the rapper’s lawyer Gary Jenkins tells us “He’s been battling addiction for some time and he’s in need of treatment.”
Jenkins also tells us, “We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him.”
DMX — aka Earl Simmons — was arrested a bazillion times over the last two years for all sorts of reasons … including drug charges.
Jenkins added, “He’s a talented man … we’re praying for him.”
A drug addiction? SHOCKER. On a side note, let me find out this “arrest” is a ploy to get on “Celebrity Rehab”….

Now that Lil Wayne has officially been sentenced on his weapons charges and escorted to Rikers today–after previous attempts hindered by dental work and fires–folks are breaking out the Free Weezy tees.
He’s been sentenced to a year but will likely only serve about 8 months. Wayne will reportedly remain in private custody the entire time:
“He is going to be in protective custody, because of who he is,” his lawyer Stacy Richman said. He did not want to, but the department of correction said it’s mandatory. He cannot be with other detainees.”

Just when I was getting excited about dude’s come back. D’Angelo was arrested yesterday for soliciting a blowie–not brown sugar–from an undercover policewoman for a whopping 40 bucks:
Grammy Award-winning R&B singer D’Angelo was arrested early yesterday after allegedly offering an undercover policewoman $40 for oral sex while cruising alone through the West Village — with $12,000 stashed in his SUV.
D’Angelo, 36, whose real name is Michael Archer, was in his top-of-the-line Range Rover at Greenwich and Horatio streets at about 2:30 a.m. when he spotted a woman he took to be a prostitute, sources said.
He was arrested and charged with solicitation after asking the woman for sex, the sources said. His manager declined to comment.
I refuse to believe times are this hard for dude. Let’s do better Mr. Archer.
