Ludacris hosted The Ludacris Foundation 6th Annual Benefit Dinner in the Ronald Reagan Building here in D.C. this weekend. He had local and national celebs come out to hit the red carpet and raise money for his Foundation for the kids.

Then he went back to ATL last night to team up with his music mogul manager Chaka Zulu to throw their support behind Atlanta mayoral candidate Kasim Reed (far right). The two joined forces to host a celebrity fundraiser for Reed at Luda’s restaurant Straits.

And in case you missed it, First Lady Michelle Obama hit “The Jay Leno Show” to do a funny and live via satellite Top Ten Q/A. Check it.

President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, have released their official First Family portrait.  It was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in the Green Room of the White House . Gorgeous family. Loves it.

First Lady Michelle O. hula hooped with the kiddies yesterday to show them they can have fun while keeping fit.  Loves that there’s hula hooping contests at the White House.

And while she was hula hooping, Mrs. O’s hubby President Obama visited third and fourth grade students at Viers Mill Elementary School in Maryland yesterday. He visited the school because students there had improved their standardized test scores.  Sweet.

And Thandie Newton brought her kiddies Ripley (right) and Nico (left) on the red carpet with her at the London Film Festival.  Fun times.

Venus Williams was spotted at PGA National Resort & Spa shooting the cover for upcoming book “Come to Win”. It hits shelves summer 2010. Yay for Venus.

It’s been confirmed that GQ is naming all 3 fellas–Drake, Wale, and Kid Cudi– “Man of the Year” this year.   All of them did a photoshoot in last month (above) for the magazine’s “Man of the Year” issue, but it was unclear which one of them received the title.

But we’ve confirmed with Wale’s rep that GQ decided to take a different approach this year.  Instead of doing 1 big A-lister as the GQ Man of the Year (Jay-Z and 50 Cent are two of the most recent recipients), they decided to give the title to 3 up and coming guys who are killing the scene.  Congrats to the fellas.  The issue hits stands in December.

On another note, Wale is doing “Jimmy Fallon” on November 10th–his album release date.  And Kid Cudi is now set to take Kanye’s place and touring with Lady Gaga soon.

Mariah Carey arrived into Japan today.  Rocking her usual red spandex and Gucci heels.  Sigh.

Kobe Bryant and his sisters Sharia and Shayla Bryant partied it up at Kobe’s party with Lamar Odom last night.  It was at Hollywood’s LAX.

And First Lady Michelle Obama has got her own action figure toy. The First Lady’s toned arms and famed fashion sense are all captured in the doll from a US toymaker. The six inch tall doll is now expected to be a popular Christmas gift, outselling the doll of her powerful husband. The Michelle Obama doll comes with three outfits, including the purple dress she wore on the day Pres. Barack Obama landed the Democratic nomination. The toy hits shelves on November 20th.

Donda West’s’s niece, Yolanda Anderson, has been adamant about getting The Donda West Law Assembly Bill 1116 passed. The law will require medical doctors to do thorough health checks/physicals to patients before that patient undergoes plastic surgery. So sad that this wasn’t already a requirement. The bill was passed into law on October 12th in California. And I, for one, think it’s a great thing.
