Foolywang Of The Week
Aubrey O'Day. You look a mess. Calling Lil Kim's plastic surgeon was not a good look. Neither is your trying to stay relevant. It does give us a few laughs and shivers though.

After rumors swirled for months that White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers would either resign or be fired after the White House party crasher fiasco, she has just announced she is resigning:
“As we turn the corner on the first year, this is a good time for me to explore opportunities in the corporate world,” Rogers told Chicago Sun-Times columnist Lynn Sweet, adding that it was “an honor and a privilege to serve this president and first lady, in what has certainly been a historic presidency.”
This reeks of a paid-for resignation in exchange for being fired in order for the White House and President to save face. Honestly, I’m extremely disappointed. The tomfoolery of the uber basic and thirsty Salahis has now caused an amazingly talented woman to lose her job. Over some publicity thirst, lies, and nonsense of 1 fraudulent and delusional couple. I mean…really? Resigning for the corporate world after only 1 year? Hope the Salahis are satisfied now….

First Lady Michelle Obama spoke at the Governors Ball talent preview at the White House yesterday. She’s still sporting her shorter bob and we’re still loving it.
And model Selita Ebanks was surprised with a birthday party at Lollipop Brunches at Scuderia in NYC this weekend. Fun times.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle are covering Essence mag yet again. In the upcoming March issue, they spoke to the mag about education and how they deal with educating First Daughters Sasha and Malia:
“Malia will tell you, my attitude was, if she came home with a B, that’s not good enough because there’s no reason why she can’t get an ‘A’…” —President Barack Obama According to the press release:
ESSENCE kicks off the first of its three-part education series, Teaching Our Children, with a White House exclusive—an interview with President Barack Obama. In his first interview of 2010, he talks tough with ESSENCE editor-in-chief Angela Burt-Murray, Deputy Editor Tatsha Robertson and Washington Correspondent Cynthia Gordy about holding teachers accountable, closing the education gap between Black and White students, how he and First Lady Michelle Obama encourage daughters Malia and Sasha to love learning, and how you can do the same with your own children.

Check out this funny video of some of the Oscar nominees at a press roundtable yesterday. Gabourey Sidibe joins in and talks about her slight obsession with Facebook. LOL @ Morgan Freeman’s face.
And First Lady Michelle Obama had an exclusive interview air on the “Today Show” this morning. And in this clip, she discusses how she does not let the intense scrutiny of everything she does get her down. Take that haters…

First Lady Michelle Obama rocked this conservative chic look to last night’s State of The Union address. She rocked an Isaac Mizrahi 3/4 sleeved zipped back full skirted dress. And in her fave color–two tones of plum. Mrs. O topped off the look with her signature single strand of pearls. So…

It’s President Obama’s first State of the Union address as the Leader of the Free World. As First Lady Michelle Obama looks on (in a fabulous purple frock by the way), as well almost all of America and people all over the world, the President is delivering his first official speech on the successes and issues and plans for the US.

The Lakers and their wives hit the White House yesterday to meet President Obama. The avid basketball fan Prez hosted the 2009 NBA champs for a day of touring and chatting. They presented him with a signed b-ball and his own Laker jersey. Doubt they will convert him from being a Bulls fan though.
Pics of the NBA wives under the cut…
Who told Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson to embark on a rap career journey? I get that he’s bored because now his NFL season is over. But do something more productive than foolery like this. Check out his “new single” that I actually think somebody will talk him into recording for real–”Dat Aint My Baby.” On the upcoming alleged album called Child Please. He performed it at Lebron James‘ party in Miami this weekend. Siiiiiigh.
