Steve McNair’s mistress Sahel Kazemi’s text messages have been revealed. Kazemi’s former roommate and ex-boyfriend told investigators that Kazemi was fielding calls from bill collectors and struggling to pay the nearly $800 car note and the full $1,000 rent after the roommate moved out. So she started losing it.

This was the last communication between the two before they were both found dead after the apparent murder-suicide cause by Sahel and Sahel begged him to be with her that night.

And 27 year old Wizards baller Gilbert Arenas is expecting a third baby on Christmas Eve with his 30 year old fiance Laura Govan. They’ve been engaged for a year and been together 8 years. Laura says about daddy Gilbert (who’s been a brat with the media and his coach lately):

“Gilbert takes the night shift,” said his fiancee Laura Govan. “He’s so diligent when he’s home — takes the kids to school in the morning, picks them up after practice, changes diapers. He’s amazing.”

Bond has been denied today for Frederick Richardson–the alleged killer of Kandi Burruss‘ fiance Ashley “A.J.” Jewell. Richardson is charged with voluntary manslaughter, after the fatal fight last Friday evening outside of the club Body Tap. According to the Examiner:

Defense counsel for Richardson said that the charges were premature because it still is not known exactly what killed Jewell.

“They don’t know cause of death… they don’t know how he died,” defense attorney Dennis Scheib stated. Police state, however, that once the fight began and Jewell went down, he was unable to defend himself.

And the AJC reports details on the judge’s bond decision:

Magistrate Sylvia McCoy said she based her decision “on the nature of the crime.”

Credible sources (including our own) are stillreporting that the cause of the fight stemmed from a business deal gone wrong  And despite early reports saying AJ suffered a severe and fatal blow to the head during the fight, Richardson’s lawyers say that’s not what happened:

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Tuesday it was still waiting on test results before deciding how Jewell, 34, died.

While waiting for the hearing to start, Scheib told reporters Jewell started the dispute with Richardson, the general manager at the club since May.

Scheib said Jewell was stretched out on Richardson’s sofa in his office “with a gun” beside him earlier in the day Friday.

Richardson said to Jewell “‘what are you doing?’ He [Jewell] said ‘I’ve got something for you,’” Scheib said.

According to Richardson, Scheib said, Jewell then pulled back the slide on the handgun.

Later in the parking lot, “A.J. comes out and says ‘I’ve got something for you.’ He takes off his shirt.. and hits Richardson twice,” Scheib said.

The two exchange blows and then Richardson leaves the parking lot. He went to the hospital to have his broken index finger treated. Scheib said. As Richardson was driving out of the parking lot, “A.J. was walking away. He wasn’t beaten to death,” Scheib said.

This is drama.

Apparently Kandi Burruss‘ late (ex)fiance Ashley Jewell (AJ) had an ex-wife. Her name is Danah Lewis and she is a 29/30 year old singer/songwriter from Atlanta. She’s been Tweeting “Thank You’s” to her friends and sending condolences to AJ’s family. She posted these pics of AJ and their son Jaden:

The Atlanta Police Department has arrested a man named Fredrick Richardson and charged him with the voluntary manslaughter of Kandi Burruss’ fiance Ashley Jewell. Ashley was beaten to death late last night outside of the Body Tap gentlemen’s club in Atlanta. Kandi’s publicist states via the AJC:

“Kandi is devastated as she is also mourning the death of her uncle, Ralph Leslie, and is attending his funeral today,” TreMedia said in a statement on behalf of the reality star Saturday. “She has no statement to make at this time and asks for privacy. There are no final details on the death of AJ.”

Kandi posted on Twitter very early this morning:

• im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone.

• I could never n a million years imagine this happening. please pray for AJ’s children. that’s who im the most concerned 4.

• im bout 2 giv my swollen eyes sum rest now. i just wanted to say thanks 2 every1 for their prayers. i gotta get up & go 2 my uncle’s funeral

Other reports are giving details of the beating saying it all stemmed from a business deal gone wrong.  AJ was allegedly in negotiations to buy the gentlemen’s club for $1 million and the deal was supposedly complete on AJ’s end earlier this week. The current owner apparently had some issues with the contract, and coincidentally, the owner’s husband’s “friends” were involved in this fatal fight as well.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kandi and AJ’s family and friends at this time.

In breaking news tonight, “Atlanta Housewife” Kandi Burruss‘ fiance Ashley Jewell (AJ) was killed while at The Body Tap gentlemen’s club in Atlanta. We spoke with a few witnesses on the scene who tell us there was indeed a fight that broke out while AJ and other men were leaving.  AJ  ended up on the ground, and died on his way to the hospital.

The AJC has confirmed a man “died from a head injury sustained in the brawl” outside of Body Tap tonight. And Kandi’s publicist has confirmed the fatal incident as well:

Burruss’ publicist, Lisa Nelson, confirmed to WSBTV.com reporter Brian Johnson that the incident has left the Atlanta housewife stunned and speechless. Nelson, who represented Burruss during the taping of the show, told Johnson that the family is asking for privacy during this very difficult time.

An investigation is underway to determine exactly who did this to AJ and why. Incredibly sad news. AJ, who appeared on several episodes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” with Kandi, leaves behind 6 children, family, and friends. Kandi recently spoke about them possibly calling off the engagement. R.I.P.

T-Boz has been keeping a secret. She tells People magazine that she has been battling a brain tumor for the last several years. On why she didn’t tell folks during “Celebrity Apprentice”:

“I didn’t want pity - I was there to help sick children. I’m still here. It will take way more to stop me.”

Back in 2006, the singer underwent a 7 hour surgery. The doctor removed the tumor from the brain stem by making a cut behind her ear she described. She and Chilli have made it known they are ready to make a musical comeback as well. Wow. Stay strong T-Boz!

Former Hip Hop radio personality Mr. Magic, AKA Sir Juice, died this morning of a fatal heart attack.  He’s instrumental in hip hop for coming on the scene in 1983 on WBLS in New York City with the first exclusive rap radio show (The Rap Attack) to be aired on a major station. R.I.P.

Last week, 16 year old Chicago high schooler Derrion Albert was beaten to death by a dozen other teen boys that was shockingly caught on tape.  The story swept the net and the nation and people were heart broken and outraged at what’s been happening in Chicago these past few years.  A severe escalation in teen violence and gang related deaths is making national news.  Now the White House has given an official statement about Derrion’s death:

“The reports and the video that we have seen on television is among the most shocking that you can ever see, the killing of an honor student … who’s beaten to death is — is chilling, chilling video,” [White House Correspondent] Gibbs said.

Obama discussed the incident in the Oval Office with top advisors on Wednesday, Gibbs said, adding that some kind of policy announcement could be expected shortly.

“This is something that the administration has been working on,” Gibbs said.

“This is not just a Chicago-specific problem. Obviously, youth crime and gang violence are something that this administration takes seriously.”

And First Lady Michelle Obama’s take:

The First Lady said in Copenhagen that one of the prime reasons she wanted Chicago to host the Games was to set an example for the city’s youth.

“We need all of our children to be exposed to the Olympic ideals that athletes from around the world represent,” she said.

“That’s what excites me most about bringing the Games to Chicago — the impact that it can have on the lives of our young people, and on our entire community.”
