A few days ago, we posted a translated Beyonce interview from the German magazine Neon. We did our due diligence of verifying the actual magazine and its credibility. The magazine has been around for years and has interviewed previously with many A-list American celebs and has one of the largest readerships of its kind. It is definitely an official staple in European entertainment journalism. We have also posted previous interviews from this mag, and we made sure the Editor himself had signed off on the Beyonce interview.

After many people came to us about how unusual the interview sounded and pointed out how a few of the facts included about Beyonce didn’t match up, we decided to remove it. Today, the magazine issued a retraction of the interview as well as an apology. As they admit they indeed ran the interview in the form everyone saw (and it was indeed translated correctly to English), they claim that they faulted in verifying the freelance writer’s info. The writer would not verify where he got his information and facts (i.e. the marriage contract with Jay-Z and her feelings about white producers), so the magazine now believes the writer made the interview up. The magazine fired the writer and has also issued a formal apology to Beyonce Knowles and to other publications. We received their apology via Beyonce’s reps at Sony Music:

So there you have it…

Jasmina Anema’s mother Thea has written a letter to explain this Tweet that came from the @OneForJasmina account a few days ago. She says she personally didn’t write that tweet herself, but it is true that Rihanna has not personally reached out to her or the family since Jasmina’s passing:

In an e-mail to PEOPLE, Thea Anema denied writing the message herself, but said she is disappointed not to have heard from Rihanna, 22, since Jasmina passed away on Jan. 27.

“Friends have helped me with all kinds of stuff and many know the passwords to my personal e-mail, the Caringbridge site and also Twitter,” Anema wrote. “Although I did not Tweet this particular one, I do wish that Rihanna had responded to me on Jasmina’s passing. It would have meant the world to me.”

Still, Anema says she is grateful for everything Rihanna did for Jasmina.

“Jasmina adored her,” she writes. “Rihanna was so kind to come and visit her. I just felt hurt not hearing anything from her. Or of any other celebrities for that matter. The only ones who reached out to me personally during this time of grief were the Obamas.”

The Tweet was deleted the next day.

After this story hit the rumor mill about Kanye reportedly lashing out flight attendants, non-CAPS LOCK rumor control is in effect. We posted the NY Post’s rumor a couple days ago saying ‘Ye went off about not getting bumped up from business class to first class. And Kanye has taken to his blog to clear it all up:

I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because ‘it’s on the internet.’ This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way. There’s been many a time where I’ve given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less about where I sit on the plane. It’s hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I’m not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied on??? How does it make you feel??? You wanna tell everybody it’s not true right? Thank you to all my fans who still love and support me even though it’s not the trend right now! I’m sleeping in the studio and I won’t let you guys down!
