It’s like Groundhog’s Day with DMX and the police. Here’s video of X getting to a serious scuffle with the cops in Colorado Springs, CO this weekend.

Here’s what went down: DMX was scheduled to perform at 9pm last night. However, he didn’t show up to the venue until after 11pm. Likely due to ordinance and noise curfews…or maybe because they just said so…X couldn’t take the stage. The police attempted to prevent X, his chick, and his crew from entering the venue where the crowd was and from going on stage because they were hella late. X got all the way to the stage and was being physically pulled between his camp and 5-0. A riot damn near occurred in the crowd. No word yet on how this ended. Foolery was ensuing though….

EDIT: Some folks are reporting that the club promoter set DMX up to be late.

Damn homie. NFL baller Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson has been accused of writing bad checks to women in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York , Miami and New Orleans. We’re told most of the girls are embarrassed to confront him about the checks…until recently. A woman named Courtney Collins put Mr. Johnson on blast via Twitter and she wants everyone to know about it. She said:

“Who knew people of his caliber wouldn’t have money in a bank account to cover a check that was written by Mr. Chad Johnson.”

Is Chad just stopping payments to these chicks he’s been writing checks to as payment for their “company”? Or is homeboy just passing out these hot checks to the unsuspecting women? Either way…WTF material indeed.

Here’s the update in the Usher case:  The police report Usher filed on Tameka (check it here) says Tameka was wildin’ out after Ursh and his mother ignored her. She was wildin out, banging on MaMa Jonetta’s door, demanding to take the kids.  And he felt she was the one who had damaged his car:

According to the reports, Usher told the Johns Creek Police Department that on Sept. 10, he had a “verbal argument” with Tameka over the phone regarding weekend custody of their children.

Usher told cops that after the argument, he dropped his kids off at his mother’s house — but when he drove back to his home, Tameka showed up “demanding to take the kids.” Usher claims Tameka eventually left and he drove back to his mother’s house — but when Usher got there, Tameka showed up and began “knocking on the door” and making several phone calls to the residence.

Usher claims he and his mom ignored Tameka — and eventually called police. When cops arrived, Tameka was nowhere to be found.

The next day, Usher called police again after he noticed several scratches on his truck — Usher told cops he believed Tameka vandalized the car in retaliation for their fight just hours before.

In the police report, the responding officers who checked out the scratched car claim they found no evidence to support Usher’s accusation. The cops even reviewed the entrance log to Usher’s private neighborhood … but there was no record of Tameka ever getting into the area where the alleged crime would have taken place.

Wow.

And the update on Soulja Boy aka Deandre Way:

Captain Jason Bolton of the Henry County Police Department issued a statement today regarding Soulja Boy’s running-from-the-cops arrest:

“You couldn’t really tell what was going on,” Bolton said. “But about half of the group ran from the officer on foot. He ordered, of course, for them to stop. … There were several vehicles left at that location.”

Sgt. Rene Swanson, also involved in the case, stated:

“There were approximately 40 people gathered behind the dark … house,” said Swanson. “Half of the people fled the area as the arriving officer called for back-up.”

YBF did our own research and found out that Mr. Deandre was released from the Henry County Police Dept. a few hours after his arrest. He’s only charged with a misdemeanor.

Interestingly, one of the other arrests on the scene was of 18 year old Latice Wayne Grier. He was charged with forgery in the second degree and several counterfeited $100 bills were found in his possession. I see all the foolery has already begun in the ATL, right before the BET Hip Hop Awards taping there this weekend…

T-Boz has been keeping a secret. She tells People magazine that she has been battling a brain tumor for the last several years. On why she didn’t tell folks during “Celebrity Apprentice”:

“I didn’t want pity - I was there to help sick children. I’m still here. It will take way more to stop me.”

Back in 2006, the singer underwent a 7 hour surgery. The doctor removed the tumor from the brain stem by making a cut behind her ear she described. She and Chilli have made it known they are ready to make a musical comeback as well. Wow. Stay strong T-Boz!

Lakers MVP Kobe Bryant will launch his new Nubeo wristwatch line (well, the line he’s endorsing) Oct. 12 at restaurant Philippe opening in LA today. By the way, the watches are ranging in price from $21,000 to around $285,000.

The other day we posted how Kelly Rowland was popping off on twitter about the horrible sound issues at the MOBO Awards causing her performance to be bad and she demanded an apology. Now here’s the video of her performance. Damn homie…

Former Hip Hop radio personality Mr. Magic, AKA Sir Juice, died this morning of a fatal heart attack.  He’s instrumental in hip hop for coming on the scene in 1983 on WBLS in New York City with the first exclusive rap radio show (The Rap Attack) to be aired on a major station. R.I.P.

Liza Morales–Lamar Odom’s ex girlfriend and babies’ mother–is still talking about how played she felt when Lamar told her–via text message–he was getting married. Radar Online interviewed her and she says:

I’ll never forget receiving that text it simply read: Getting married soon – want the kids to meet my future wife,” she revealed. “I’ve known Lamar for 15 years and we had three children together and he was always a real commitment phobe so finding out that he was marrying Khloe Kardashian so soon was a bombshell to say the least.

And if you were wondering how good of a father Lamar has been to the kids, she says:

“In August this year he was talking to me about rekindling our relationship and being a family again but I told him that our two kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr, are getting older and I didn’t want to confuse them any further. Unfortunately, he hasn’t actually seen them in the past three months and when it comes to being a father it’s time that he really stepped up to the plate in that respect.”

So last night Serena Williams got extra pissy about how her match was going during the US Open. And the Tournament Referee ended up making a decision that got her out of the US Open semi-finals after 2 code violations - throwing and breaking her racquet, and for threatening an official!

The line judge claimed the number 2 seed Serena threatened her by saying “I will kill you!” And it sounds like ‘Rena is denying it. Reports also say Serena yelled to the line judge “If I could, I would take this f*cking ball and shove it down your f*cking throat.” Check the vid. Serena’s sis Venus and mom Oracene were in the crowd as well.

UPDATE: Serena just did a press conference a few hours ago where she discussed what happened and says she misunderstood what the line judge was accusing her of. The line judge apparently didn’t say Serena screamed “I will kill you”.

Basically Serena was forced to give a point to her opponent due to her “unsportsmanlike conduct” and that resulted in her losing the second set (after already losing the first), which meant she lost whole match. Story here.

Tila Tequila was on her way to the District Attorney’s office yesterday to discuss this battery case involving San Diego Charger Shawne Merriman.  And a photog snapped some pics of her bruises:

Word also has it Tila got hemmed up because she didn’t want to partake in a foursome with Shawne and 2 other chicks at the party that night. Wonder what Shawne’s gonna say now….

Now that almost all the big acts Jermaine Jackson said would be performing at MJ’s tribute have denied ever agreeing to do so (Chris Brown, Mary J, and Natalie Cole), the tribute has been officially cancelled.  Well, “postponed”.  The show’s producer Georg Kindel says:

“Maybe we underestimated these (scheduling) issues. It was very difficult to put up the show, which normally needs six months.”

“Due to this fact, we decided to reschedule the event for the first half of June 2010, but not in Vienna, in London.”

3.  A rumor is floating that Keshia Knight Pulliam posted on Twitter that she may pose for Playboy.  We checked out that Twitter account (TheRealKPulliam) and it’s a fake.  Her REAL Twitter name is PeachesPulliam and she says nothing of the sort.  So the rumor is false.
