Usher says he’s not even trying to shop around pics of his baby lil Usher Raymond V. He tells Page Six, “In no way would I ever pimp out my child for money.” Daddy and son were already spotted out and about together last month. He also says he’s livid that people are even talking about his child at all. And of course, he goes on about how everyone should respect his wife Tameka because it is who he has chosen to spend his life with:
“I stand by her as a man loving my wife and being there for my child . . . Opinions are like [bleep]holes. Everybody’s got one. What I will say is, this is my wife and I would hope that [people] would respect my wife and my marriage and who I have chosen to spend my life with.”
And what Ursh has to say on people talking ish about him in regards to him possibly fronting as a family man:
“What makes you a man more than being a father to your child? I recognize I gave anonymity away when I became an artist, but to have people try to paint a horrible picture of what’s so beautiful – it’s obvious someone is trying to stop something so beautiful.”
He and Baby Ursh will be featured in the Father’s Day ‘08 issue of Essence magazine.

Usher and Tameka Raymond were spotted shopping it up in Beverly Hills this weekend:
Anybody else forget just that quick that they had a baby Usher last year? Maybe it’s because nan a person has even seen said baby yet. Maybe they’re still holding out for those OK! millions.

Usher spoke with the AJC about his newfound self:
What he’s learning as a new father:
“I think I’m learning how selfish I really can be as an individual. Man, before you just get up and go everyday and you work people to oblivion — and I do. But when you have a child it’s like, ‘Wow!’ All of this time now goes toward making sure that one, he has the milk that he needs. He’s being burped properly. Diapers are being changed — and Lord knows he has let me have it! I am changing diapers!”
What he’s learning as a new husband:
“Just to be a little more patient. Marriage is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. You have to take your time and be very patient. Sometimes you’ve got to breathe. Step away. Walk away from each other. You’ll drive each other crazy if you’re not considerate of that.”
And Ursh and Tameka are still waiting for the highest bidder I see:
While the Raymonds are figuring out how they will release the first baby photos, Usher pulls a few from his wallet. One is a black and white he took when his first child was born. “I’ve become an instant photographer,” he offers. “Developing them and everything.” Another shot is of Usher V — who may have more hair than daddy — during his first bath in the sink. “It looks like he’s posing doesn’t it?” the admiring father says. “I wonder where he gets that from? He’s going to be a lady-killer!”
Oh the price of Daddydom.

1. Diddy is getting his star on the HollywoodWalk of Fame on January 11th, 2008. Congrats to him.
2. Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, and Jennifer Hudson all may be starring in a new Hollywood movie The Secret Life of Bees.

Well the baby is here. Usher and Tameka Foster Raymond aren’t releasing the name of their new bundle of joy but sources say the baby boy will likely be named Usher Raymond V as previouisly planned by the couple. A source tells People.com that “Usher was with his wife and new child Tuesday at an Atlanta hospital, and the family is expected to head home on Wednesday.” Congrats to the couple and their new baby boy.
