Kelly Rowland Dropped From Label!

Word has it that Kelly Rowland just got dropped from her label Columbia Records. This comes right on the heels of Kelly firing Papa Knowles as her manager. Like we didn't see this one coming. Sources at Columbia supposedly revealed that the reason for dropping Kellz is because she is "no longer commercially viable". Damn. That's rough. Columbia is the label her "sisters" are on as well. And Papa Knowles still says he'll continue managing Destiny's Child as a group. Looks like Kelly's about to be twiddling her thumbs awaiting a reunion so she can cop a check. Rough times. Meanwhile, Beyonce is still traveling the world bringing Sasha Fierceness to the lives of her followers:

@ Devonne, I could be reaching but I have always thought that Matthew was Kelly's father and they were just keeping it a secret only because I just don't see what mother would leave their child with some random family just because she wanted to be in a singing group. The story is Kelly and Beyonce met in school but still if that's true, they didn't know eachother well enough for Kelly to be living with the Knowles' Either way I hope Kelly bounces back from all of this.

Sooo funny pairing a Kelly post with Beyonce. I am sorry to hear about Kelly IF THIS IS TRUE. I’m sure she will bounce back she is a very talented individual. She really stood out in D.C and I loved her in the group. She is in control of her Destiny and only the sky is the limit. When you want to do something, and have the tenacity NOONE can hold you back. Columbia shut out DC in the beginning and ended up giving them a deal. I hope she comes out on top. Much love. Beyonce I’m sure had a great performance, from the reviews, going to the concert so not up to much on the videos. But from what I’ve heard she did great. But there is no suprise when she gets so much shade, look at how the blogs and the media try to pit Kelly and Beyonce against each other. It’s so sad. These two stories very well could have been seperate. Or at least this Halo video could have been put in the ten other threads about Beyonce’s concert, why this is paired together is beyond me?? Oh I get it to pit two friends against one another and make one look like the enemy. Anything to get more blog hits in a bad recession. Smh. I agree Tasha always trying to do that

Please, Kelly has just as much talent as Beyonce does. People stay doubting Kelly but I bet she'll come back stronger than ever and all of you wack ass people saying that this is her fault and that she'll never be on Beyonce's level will be feeling stupid. I don't know where the "shady" Matthew Knowles comments are coming from, but Matthew Knowles has been VERY good to Kelly. She has been living with the Knowles since childhood. I have no idea where her biological parents are. They've always said that Kelly's mother was struggling and they took her in. She's been clothed, fed, invested in, taught, reared and made into a very successful, wealthy and famous woman BECAUSE of Matthew Knowles. Her record label may not dropped her earlier BECAUSE of Matthew Knowles.

Solange is not signed to Columbia Records. She is signed to Matthew’s label so people should hush about Solo selling less. We know Matthew isn’t going to drop his own daughter. Michelle may be next to get dropped by Columbia. I love me some Kelly and I know she will bounce back from this. The record company put that message out there in an attempt to black ball Kelly. They may have been given a choice between Beyonce or Kelly. Matt uses Beyonce as leverage to get what he wants done. I feel bad for Kelly...she should get new management, get a new deal (which shouldn't be hard b/c she's EXTREMELY talented) and concentrate more on building her career overseas, that seems to work for her. Bottom line Beyonce is a great entertainer and perfomer, she works the stage and sounds wonderful while doing it...there aren't many performers in TODAY'S day and age that can do what that woman does.
