The Good Hair Premiere In New York City

Chris Rock and Nia Long are back on the big red carpet again premiering their new movie Good Hair.  This time they hit NYC's IFC Center with their celebrity friends:

Nia's looking gorgeous as usual.  Loving this look.

Ashanti actually rocked a cute look as well.  Simple black back zipped up dress with colorful pumps.  Her body's been looking great these days as well.

And Salt, Spinderella, and Pepa all hit the carpet last night as well.  Still loves these ladies. Lots more pics when you read the rest...

Chris brought his mom Rose along as his date.  I see where he gets his facial expressions from now.

Amber Rose hit the carpet sans Kanye showing off her lip ring and new side part.

Ashanti's determined to make us love this new hair of hers I see...

Cute.

Sexy Lenny Kravitz was there.

Al "Big Perm" Sharpton hit the carpet.

So did Harry Belafonte.  Holding it down for the old school sexy fellas...

Publicist Marvet Britto was in the mix rocking the Catherine Malandrino blouse Kerry W. rocked last week.

Sigh.

Gayle King kicked it with her friend Benny Medina.

Maybe Corbin Bleu should have been in the movie too.

Al Roker and wife Deborah Roberts hit the carpet.

So did Hoda Kotb.

Wendy Wendy Wendy.  Those damn boots...

I'm actually feeling Genvieve's look right here...

Veronica Webb made an appearance as well. And over at the afterparty at The Standard:

Gabby S. showed up.

Producer Nelson George kicked it with Gayle and Benny.

And Chris' fam Brian, mom Rose, and Jordan were there to support.  Nice.

Boo...2 people can rock the

Boo...2 people can rock the exact same thing and look completely different. It's not about the item of clothing, it's about how it's being rocked. One could look fab in said item while the other person can look foolywang. AND make said item of clothing look foolywang. Plain and simple. Don't like that fact? Oh wells.
