Princess Anika Noni Rose Glams It Up In London

Publicity for The Princess & The Frog continued for the cast over in London over the weekend. Anika Noni Rose, Disney's first black Princess, hit some promo events. At GMTV she rocked a metallic slim skirt and yellow blouse combo. And at a special event at the Mayfair Hotel, this mint green strapless origami cocktail dress. Looking uber fab in both looks. More pics under the cut...

She also kicked it with UK singer Jamelia and her fam.

And the pics from GMTV are just as fab.

AFTER ALL THE MOVIES, JUSTIN TO KELLY, DREAMGIRLS, ETC... IT FINALLY DAWNED ON ME THAT I WENT TO COLLEGE WITH THIS CHIC AT FAMU. It's interesting how the

It's interesting how the "KIDS" were scared by the voodoo but not scared by the ugly witches who tried to kill in all of the other Disney movies..evil is evil. Disney was true to New Orleans culture. Most who have never been to NO will never understand it. We need to stop complaining and take the great storyline from the movie. It wasn't about being a "princess" but more about getting your own. PRINCESS TIANA was a "BOSS" let's apreciate that & teach our daughter's that we can get or own & still have a Prince

@ ummstopit - I agree that most of what you said sans "yall are soooo dumb!!" LOL! Anywho...I too didn't expect to see that much voodoo in the movie. My children were scared a little, but I tried to explain to them the messages presented throughout the movie in terms they would understand. They enjoyed it. It did have some great lines though! "Gator down!" Hilarious! The voice of Ray-mond...Hilarious!

OMG!!! yall are soooo dumb!! I loved the movie enjoy for what it is & understand that in the orginal story the princess was a frog most of the story as well. Damn!! SLEEPING BEAUTY slept most of her movie, SNOW WHITE DIED,& CINDERELLA WAS A SLAVE!! WE complain about everything!! BTW Anika is very pretty!!

I took my daughter to see the Princess movie, and she was terrified of the VooDoo guy!! Grant it she is only 3, but still... I wasn't expecting the "darkness", skull and bones, and sinister part... Good movie nonetheless... I think i shed a tear when the firefly died. LMAO!
