I thought it was quite editorial. She (in the video) after all was not that easy to love. She couldn't cook; she did more posing than cleaning; and all those cigarettes and martini's had to have an effect on her breath. Overall, I like it.

for some reason I feel like this song was meant for Solange and Beyonce took it from her :/ lol anyways the video is cool - i doubt black women in the late 50s/early 60s were like that though - this was more modeled from the white norms back then, which i guess is fine.
