LOCKED UP?! Lyfe Jennings BACK IN PRISON To Serve His 3.5 Year Stint!

Lyfe Jennings released his fourth album, 'I Still Believe' just in time because he will be serving a 3.5 year prison sentence for 2008 charges filed against him by his baby mama, Joy Bounds. Find out what type of trouble Lyfe got into when you read on...

After serving 10 years in prison for arson, Chester "Lyfe" Jennings will now be going back again. Back in October of 2008, Lyfe got into an altercation with his baby mama, Joy Bounds. He was charged with a DUI test refusal, criminal trespassing, discharging a weapon near a street, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. He was later released from jail on a $50,000 bond.

He is now being sentenced to 3.5 years for the 2008 indictment.

Before going in the slammer, he took to his twitter to thanks his fans:

This will be my last post. To everyone who gave me a chance I am forever in your debt. I have had a fabulous career because of you. All I can say in parting is that I have been honest with yaw. I didn't sugarcoat a word didn't hold back a single sylible of my life from yaw. I've lived a hundred lives in these 6 yrs so I not only won't, i don't have the right to complain. I would like to think that I've changed lives by changing my own, tho I can't be sure. But one thing I am sure of is God gives and takes away in measure. He is fair, just and forever. Amen from aman... Smile, its contageous:)

I think that you are pushing blame Chester Jermaine Jennings make a decision and now he is dealing with it. I do agree though the 3.5 yeah for that bull shit was probably a lil much. I love Lyfe's music. He

I love Lyfe's music. He touches on true issues and I felt a genuiness about his point of view. We all make mistakes, some get caught, some don't, some mistakes are not big as other peoples. I hope he learns from this as he's still a young guy and is able to make more music upon his release. His music is needed in this world of pretentiousness and make believe. Also, in regards to him backsliding after his "preaching". We learn from mistakes, our own and others. He has always been willing to share his shortcomings and has never pretended to be something he's not.
