well beyonce is a great artist, but there are other who have out did her and holds down just as many billboard awards as she does, she went solo in 2003 right? then dc should be considered in this because if you tally beyonce's sales gaga has beat her in 3 years. k clarkson, britney, maryj, k clarkson, c underwood, jayz ,usher and eminen and many of the bands. and they say this is on popularity well tha means your youtube views count and theres two females who has went pass the billion mark on views gaga and rihanna, eminem where is beyonce? they can give the award to her but its questionable? and rightly so when you have others who has sold as much and even more than she has and has got as many sales and more sales in many instances. she does not have the most #'1, what has she done that is history making this pass year? check and see that theres many whos ahead of her in sales unless they are counting dc and if that be the case then dc needs to be in on it . she dropped her double disc over two years ago and she has 3 studio albums, 3 live albums, 2 ep's so out of three albums she has generated over 7 albums and her tally does not top many of the artist and if they are leaving other big names out then we all know something just like them grammy's????????

Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey received the, "Artist Of The Millennium Award", not the, "Billboard Millennium Award." Those are 2 completely different awards. The, "Billboard Century Award" is the "highest" honor for creative achievement. Therefore, if this is the "highest" Billboard award given, then no other award can come before it. So, where did this, "Billboard Millennium Award" come from all of a sudden and why are we just now hearing about it? Everyone is saying that others should calm down because it's not as if Rihanna is nominated for 18 grammys, their just Billboard Awards. But, I bet if it were Beyonce who was being nominated for those 18 awards, people would be shouting it from the roof tops!
