Mo And Kita Pop Back: "We've Never Stolen ANYTHING From Terrell Owens"

Mo and Kita are finally speaking out and sharing THEIR side of the story regarding their "former" friendship with distressed former NFL star T.O. But most importantly, they want you to know they DO NOT steal. Deets inside.....

We all remember when T.O. went on "WENDY" to discuss the GQ article where he revealed he was broke, lonely and felt betrayed by a few friends. Although he did mention that he is no longer friends with Mo and Kita, he kept mum about the name of a friend who stole from him (so some people thought it was Mo and Kita).

Now the ladies are speaking out to clear their name and share their side of the story.

TheInsider.com: How did all this start? Terrell says you double-crossed him.

Kita: He's mad at everybody. We were friends first. People forget that. We were friends for 12 years. Terrell is the only client we had where we had a friendship first. The GQ article didn't bother us (T.O. recently did an interview with GQ where he stated he was broke and had no friends). Terrell is typically known for running his mouth, he says things off the cuff, he's mad at the world. It didn't bother us, that article we knew about.

TheInsider.com: So what took you guys over the top emotionally?
Kita: His Wendy Williams interview. We didn't steal anything from him. And he sat on that couch, and said a friend stole some money. People assumed he was talking about us, and he never really stated he WASN'T talking about us. So that's how Wendy Williams made the assumption and went on her after show saying 'Those two girls ripped him off! I can't believe Mo and Kita would do such a thing.' Having an opinion is one thing -- anyone can have an opinion -- but when you state it as fact now you are messing with my reputation as a professional woman. Monique and I have been in this business for over 15 years. Before T.O. And we've worked with artists from Ludacris, to Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Method Man and more. We worked for Def Jam! So for him to say something like that and not be clear -- that's where we got hurt. We're hurt more than anything.

TheInsider.com: So just to set the record straight, neither of you have ever stolen from T.O.?
Monique and Kita: NEVER!
Monique: We have never! We've never stolen ANYTHING from Terrell Owens. There's been always hills and valleys within our relationship. This isn't the first time Terrell and Kita and I have parted ways with our friendship. Over a 12-year span it's not a big deal. Where the hurt and disbelif came from is he put some things out there, and we know how media puts a spin on things, especially messy media. He was never clear.

Well I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm 21 and I know for sure that if I made that much money I'd still have over 75% of it, if not more through investment, 20 years from now. But then again I'm an accounting major so I don't play when it comes to finances. Let's just call a spade a spade. Some folks are irresponsible at that age and some aren't. I can name a number of athletes who are still on top of there stuff after many years away from the game. Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Kenny Smith, and I bet Kobe will still have the half of his fortune Vanessa doesn't receive when he's retired.

It's sad that they would try

It's sad that they would try to spin what was really said on the show to avoid the real issue. He never said they stole from him. Wendy never said they stole from him. If you watch the show she was talking about them shopping around their own show and not telling TO. Nobody said they stole. Thats the spin that they are putting on it to keep from dealing with the real issue. Why wasn't they upfront from the beginning? Anyone who watched the show knew Kita was trying to get her own show from the beginning. She should have just been truthful. If you are friends why can't you be truthful and then you don't have to go and back track things and try to put a spin on the story. Mo and Kita were wrong. Friends don't do friends that way. Point blank Period. They are publicist. They are trying to spin the story to take the heat off what they actually did.

They basically used Terrell

They basically used Terrell to become relevant. No one knew who these Heffas were until the show...they used their friend, and tried to do a spin off without when once they felt they had enough notoriety. Terrell should be mad. They pimped him! If they were true friends they could've been straight up and said "hey, want to do our own show, we will make you the co producer and you will get paid too"...if that were true he wouldn't have to hear about the show..they are BEST FRIENDS! It's obvious they deliberately tried to hide it from him which = SHADY. I work in PR and I would never hire them and I hope no other celeb hires them because as PUBLICISTS they suck! Think of where Terrell was image wise before the show and NOW. They did a horrible job. A publicist is supposed to stay in the background..Everytime they try to go in front it doesn't go well. i.e, Lizzie Grubman. You don't see Meredith O'Sullivan or Ken Sunshine running around doing shows. That's because they are real publicists.

Anyone who followed T.O.'s

Anyone who followed T.O.'s financial woes knows it was a MALE friend of his who stole from him -- to the tune of approximately $300k. It wasn't Mo or Kita. He never named the friend publicly, but he was close to a guy named Pablo in the 1st season or 2 of his show. He'd grown up with Pablo. All of a sudden, Pablo disappeared, as did T.O.'s Bentley, so I will hypothesize and say Pablo was the friend who "stole" from T.O. T.O. didn't know his FICO score. He was around a 530 when he saw his FICO score and began crying ON HIS SHOW (what's new?!.). The "friend" in question was living in Atlanta, on Terrell's dime. Terrell clearly wasn't watching the watchers when it came to his personal business. Terrell claimed Drew Rosenhaus is responsible for his financial downfall. At the end of the day, YOU approve who your money is invested with. If Drew recommended investments and/or brokers when he is Terrell's agent, Terrell's bad judgment is to blame. He trusted white folks and white folks came and took every damn dollar he owed them as well as what the man paid him. Sucks to be him.
