EX WIVES CLUB: Nicole Murphy SET To Join The Ex-Wives Of Prince, Will Smith, R. Kelly And Jose Canseco For "Hollywood Exes" Show

Talk about juicy.  The ex-wives of Eddie Murphy, Prince, Will Smith, Jose Canseco and R. Kelly are all about to be in one room.  On one show.  Producers at VH1 are making that vision a "reality" with their upcoming series "Hollywood Exes."  Get the deets inside....

With perhaps one of the best reality show concepts heard thus far, VH1 is going to put the ex-wives of some of the world's biggest stars together for a reality as only they can.  It's been rumored this was happeneing....and now it is.

The working titles of the series is "HOLLYWOOD EXES" and will star Nicole Murphy (ex wife of Eddie Murphy – 13 years), Jessica Canseco (ex wife of Jose Canseco - 4 years), Sheree Fletcher (ex wife of Will Smith – 3 years), Mayte Garcia (ex wife of Prince – 3 years), and Andrea Kelly (ex wife of R. Kelly – 12 years).  The network expects the show to  premiere in the summer of 2012 with 10 one-hour episodes.

The show is described this way:

Hollywood ex-wives are part of an exclusive sorority whose members' lives seem to mirror that of a modern day Cinderella fairytale. But all the fame and fortune of marrying a celebrity may seem fun and glamorous at first, but it often comes with a price tag. Living in the shadow of your very famous husband can take its toll on your psyche when you feel second to his career.

These five women, who have all been friends for years and in some cases for as long as 20 years, want to show the world they are more than just a trophy wife with a pretty face. They want to establish themselves as independent, successful women and bring relevance and honor to themselves separate from their very famous exes...even if there is a little drama along the way.

"These extraordinarily strong women adjusted to and endured a lot while their ex-spouses won fame and fortune defining pop culture for that moment," said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production, VH1. "Now these women must re-invent themselves again, stepping out of the long shadows cast by their famous husbands and supporting each other as they define the next stage of their lives – this time on their own terms."

HOLLYWOOD EXES will be brought to you by the same folks behind "Basketball Wives" so......

All of these women have kept

All of these women have kept a treasure trove of secrets. Prince and Mayte lost a baby and the circumstances surrounding the baby's death are really suspect. Johnny Gill was allegedly the link that broke up Nicole and Eddie Murphy's marriage. Johnny was reportedly living with the Murphys at one point. I know that Nicole didn't clean up in her divorce settlement. There was a pre-nup, and I don't think she received a penny more than $15 million -- after all of those kids, all of those years and Eddie's infidelity. She invested her money with a con artist who damn near broke her. Kim K's ex-husband rented a house from Nicole and defaulted on the rent. Jose Canseco was on that sh!t, so I'm sure his ex saw a whole lot. R. Kelly's ex-wife probably knows more about his extracurricular activities with young girls than we realize. And last but not least, Sheree (nee Zampino) Fletcher. She quietly raised Trey, her son with Will, because she was allegedly being paid to keep her mouth shut about Will's sexual proclivities. Only the blind believe Will and Jada are hetero. Gay people have children too. As long as woman has a functioning uterus, she can have a baby. She doesn't need to be "straight." I know Sheree knows some sh!t, and I wonder if she'll spill the beans now that Trey is all grown up and Will should be done tendering child support payments. VH1 knew what they were doing when they cast this series. Let the games begin, and let the ex-husbands sweat.

"so I'm sure his ex saw a whole lot. R. Kelly's ex-wife probably knows more about his extracurricular activities with young girls than we realize." No, I doubt it. Even IF she did - there's no doubt in my mind she will be mute on the whole situation if it ever comes up on the show. Actually, I'm 100% sure she most likely signed a confidential agreement with R. Kelly to where she can't discuss their marriage or anything regarding. Hell, you probably won't see his kids throughout the show. No. I doubt it and even if she did
Anonymous's picture

You doubt my statement when I

You doubt my statement when I said Andrea likely knows more about R. Kelly's scandalous activities than people realize. Then you state, emphatically, that she signed a confidentiality agreement. If she wasn't a witness to anything incriminating and/or "privileged", she wouldn't be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. The young lady in the R. Kelly video was Sparkle's niece (if I recall correctly). You can't tell me that, knowing this man has a penchant for YOUNG GIRLS, Sparkle didn't suspect something was going on between the 2 of them. R. Kelly and Aaliyah were married, but I question whether or not she was a minor. They got divorced. A marriage would be NULL if an adult married a minor without parental consent and the marriage certificate was signed. People miss the details. :) I'll have to ask whether or not Nicole signed a confidentiality agreement when she and Donkey divorced. She may have, too. Her attorneys weren't the greatest, which is part of the reason why Nicole didn't make out as well as she should have.

She most likely signed a

She most likely signed a confidentiality agreement just like everyone else in R. Kelly's camp does. It's no different from other famous celebrities. There's ALWAYS a confidentiality agreement signed. So no, just because she didn't witness anything incriminating in noway means she wouldn't sign a confidentiality agreement. The rest of your post is redundant and has nothing to do with Andrea or this show.

I don't see this show

I don't see this show lasting. Nicole is a very classy woman and great mom, she will not bring any negative drama to the show. Sharee is married to a pastor, so I don't see her bringing any drama to the show. I don't know about the other women, so we know drama sell, I don't see drama on the show. Maybe their show will be a positive spin to reality TV. Eddie, Will and Prince are definitely not having any drama surrounding their names. I wish the ladies the best .

You clearly dont KNOW NicHOE.

You clearly dont KNOW NicHOE. aka nicole murphy. She's a slore. She's been run through by everyone in the biz including R KELLY lmao. So that should be interesting. As far as her being a 'good mother' and 'classy woman' those titles NEVER have been associated with her. She doesnt even raise her kids nor do they live with her. And any woman who leaves her young girls to be raised by nannies, chefs, & strangers while ol' Ed is doing the weird ish he does, needs to be slapped two times. The ONLY time she sees her kids is when WE SEE HER WITH HER KIDS bc she calls for the photo-ops. smh

I can totally believe that!

I can totally believe that! And even though I don't work for--or know any of these celeb ex-wives personally, I know they ain't no damn good by the simple fact that they've agreed to do a trashy VH1 Reality Show. VH1 is not like OWN or a reputable network. Vh1=trash just like Fox News=Racism & Biased Reporting. All of these women are well-connected enough to make a go of real careers, businesses, etc...their kids are provided for so they could get regular jobs if they wanted to. But no. They'd rather take the crappy-Reality TV show route. I will not be watching. Next...

These women want to be

These women want to be recongnized for something more than just being the ex-wife of a celebrity? Alright! BUT to do so they use the fact that they were married to a celebrity? Tss.. The best way to show that you're independant is to do something on your own, by yourself, about yourself and using your own tools and NOT by using the fact that you were married to a ceebrity! Just my opinion

This is stupid. It's contradictory. How are you going to have a show entitled "Hollywood Exes" but the concept of the show is about these 5 ladies becoming independent and leaving their famous ex-husband's shadow? That's contradictory! These women are milking their husbands name for their 15 minutes but the concept is about them "wanting" to step out of their shadow? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. On top of all that, 3 of these ladies STILL have their exes last name!

The problem is that the producers do not want to pay real actors the big bucks to actually act on TV so they get these folks who want to be famous without any talent to act themselves in roles. Hollywood has no creative talent anymore either and the audience doesn't seem to know the difference so they will accept anything slopped out to them.

Damn with these shows. They should just group them all together and call these shows The U.S. National Gold-digging Society. Since when did "he was me Ex" become show worthy? They're just trying to show us the lives of wealthy black women and their lifestyles but they choose the most dysfunctional ones, the ones that married entertainers.

someone please explain to me

someone please explain to me .. how do you want to "reinvent" yourselves and not be know by your ex husbands...however you have a show called ex wives and you are only know bc of the marriage to them.... ummmmmm college educated but yet dumb-founded at this... even basketball wives... none of the ppl on the shows are wives , the ones tht are are going thru divorces and half of them was never even wives to begin with.... but still a fan of the show... just venting my thoughts!

Yep! I was just going to say

Yep! I was just going to say that society has really took a turn for the worse when these chics decide it's okay to use their men of the past for more money and networks glorifying failed marriages! And seriously, most of them have been divorced for quite some time...they are really fishing for some cash right now.
Anonymous's picture

It's sad enough that so many

It's sad enough that so many black women are single and/or single mothers. These types of shows really make it so that no one will ever want to go near them. And what's even sadder is that ni99ers seem to love these shows.
Anonymous's picture

These women are all

These women are all divorcees, as 50% of all married people divorce. Where did this become a "Black" show? There is a lot more drama on shows with predominately white or "other" casts, but those shows don't garner the ratings that BBW or RHOA do because, let's face it, white people aren't that engaging. A lot of women are single mothers not because of their races or nationalities, but because so-called men today are the new women. If males would play the roles God intended them to play -- provider, leader, protector, there wouldn't be so many single women, single mothers, "broken" homes or failed marriages. These males today cannot provide for their families or they choose not to. That's not a woman's fault. This show will likely be indicative of the power struggle that occurs when unknown/non-famous women marry high profile, rich/wealthy men. I'm certain these women have been subject to tremendous abuses across the board -- financial, emotional and physical. Infidelity is physical abuse. I've never heard of someone contracting HIV or STDs from an ass whipping, but sticking your d!ck where it doesn't belong creates problems for your entire family. Black men really need to grow up and start playing the role that was designated for them. If they can't be responsible, I advise Black women to venture outside of the race and give good men who will love and support them a fighting chance. I'm all for Black love, but I'd rather a woman find a good man of an opposite race than stay with a bum because he is her same race.

Will's ex-wife appeared on

Will's ex-wife appeared on Oprah with Will, Jada and the kids last spring and appeared to be a very close friends with Jada. They have an amicable relationship and both families are a tight-knit unit who has resolved any issues and have succeeded at being a blended family. Sheree is very well-put together and seems to be smart and classy woman. Her husband is a pastor. I could be wrong but I don't see her bringing any ignorance or drama to the show. She could be a breath of fresh air and help balance the messiness and drama that I'm sure the other women will bring and/or create.
