FIRST LOOK: Keke Palmer, Lil' Mama & Drew Sidora SUIT UP For "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story"

We've gotten our first look at Drew Sidora, Lil' Mama and Keke Palmer in character as TLC.  And their "look" is spot-on. See a pic from the set inside....

 

For anyone who had their doubts about the casting of Drew Sidora, Lil' Mama and Keke Palmer in the roles of T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli for the VH1 biopic, "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story", a first look at the ladies "in character" proves they may just do this some justice.

T-Boz tweeted a pic of the ladies with a collabo comparison of herself, Left Eye and Chilli from the original video shoot for "No Scrubs" saying, "Ta-Dow how ya like me now... #DemTLCguls next 2 the girls playing #TLC"

We have to agree, the ladies look great in their roles and we're super excited about the film.  The biopic recently wrapped production in Atlanta and is expected to air on VH1 later this year.

They nailed it with Keke as

They nailed it with Keke as Chilli and Lil Mama as Left Eye, but that Dru Sadora STILL is not giving me T-Boz; still do not agree with that casting choice. However, overall I think it will end up pretty good and I can't wait to see it. We'll see about the acting, not concerned about KeKe, she is seasoned, no worries with her. Lil Mama definitely has Left Eye's personality and resembles her closely, we'll see if she can truly pull it off. I don't think she'll disappoint, we'll see.

You can't always find "good"

You can't always find "good" actors/actresses that look like their real life counterparts' identical twin. I'd rather see little or no physical resemblance and a great acting job then someone who looks just like the real life character and can't act to save their lives. The costumer/stylist for the movie clearly has it all under control, so calm it on down.

I guess what throws me off in

I guess what throws me off in addition to their external resemblance (or lack there-of) is also the height stuff. TLC was a bunch of lil bits, and with KeKe playing Chili, but still being the tallest - it's weird. Hopefully the mannerisms and such are dead on, bc right now..... (>_<)

It should be interesting to see if any new details come out in this movie that we haven't already heard before. If the movie basically restates the same things they've revealed in countless interviews, we'll know they did it for the $$$
