Bill Duke is heading back to OWN with a controversial new documentary named "Light Girls."  Watch the trailer inside and see pics of Ray J and Garcelle Beauvais at a fundraiser for Eric Garner's family.

Next month, Bill Duke follows-up his acclaimed documentary "Dark Girls," with "Light Girls," airing on Monday, January 19 at 9 pm ET/PT.

Much like its predecessor, "Light Girls" featuring an in-depth look into colorism around the globe, but this time, the stories are told from the perspective of light-skinned women.

For one of the first times on television, serious attention is paid to questions like "Do "Light Girls" have social advantages?  Easier lives? Are light-skinned children treated differently?

The documentary explores skin color from historical, sociological, psychological and scientific perspectives, and will include interviews with Soledad O'Brien, Diahann Carroll, India Arie, Iyanla Vanzant, Michaela Angela Davis, Kym Whitley, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Russell Simmons and more.
