Tasha Smith just copped an early Christmas gift this year. A judge ruled in her favor and annulled her marriage to husband Keith Douglas after being outed as a fraud! Deets inside…

After a little over a year of hell, “Empire” star Tasha Smith can now breath A LOT easier.

A few days ago, the YBF actress got her marriage to estranged husband Keith Douglas annulled after proving he’s not the person he presented himself to be originally.

According to TMZ, Tasha’s estranged husband led her to believe he was a preacher and that he was a man of faith. But, that’s not the man she ended up marrying. Tasha said she found out Keith had been married FIVE times before her and that he LIED about how many kids he had. Chile….

Not only that, he hid his criminal past and never revealed that he hadn’t paid taxes for nearly a decade! Yikes. We noticed TMZ reported his name as Rory Douglas (although in previous posts he was named Keith Douglas), so maybe he lied about his real name as well. Hmph.

During the hearing the judge reportedly said, “She in no way would have jumped within a few months at the chance to be bride number six.”

The 44-year-old actress has been through hell and back with this marriage. It all started last November when Keith filed a restraining order against Tasha that was granted even though they were still living in the same house! Then, Tasha filed her restraining order against him saying she was in fear of her life.

Soon after, the Why Did I Get Married? actress was ordered to fork over $50,000 for pre-spousal support AND was ordered to hand over nearly $7,000 a month in spousal support.

No word on if Keith will have to reimburse her the money, but one thing is for sure, Tasha is one happy camper right now.

Merry Christmas Tasha!
