Because we all need a little Monday morning inspiration, watch first time Emmy winners Sterling K. Brown & Courtney B. Vance's emotional (and kinda hilarious) acceptance speeches inside...

Talk about doing the work!  Stanford and Tisch School alumni Sterling K. Brown -- almost 15 years and multiple advanced degrees later -- won his first major award and Emmy last night.  And his speech will give anyone who is grinding for their passion a little push to never quit.

"The People vs. O.J. Simpson" star saluted his actress wife Ryan saying he has the hottest chick in the game wearing his chain (LOVE!), and got emotional speaking about his road to this very moment.  We've been fans since he starred alongside his real life wife in "Army Wives." And this past year, he played the hell out of that Chris Darden role. This Emmy is well deserved.

Watch his speech below:

Courtney B. Vance has been in this game almost as long as we've been alive.  He celebrates 30 years in the industry next year, and he's just now winning his first Emmy.  Long overdue!  He had us doing double takes all season as he played Johnnie Cochran on "The People vs. O.J."  Totally nailed it.

The Harvard University AND Yale School of Drama grad can now add his Emmy to his Tony Award he received for Lucky Guy.   But first, he let the world know he couldn't make any of his illustrious career happen without his flawless wife Angela Bassett "wearing his chain."  Ha!

He ended with “Obama out, Hillary in!”

Get his perfect speech below:

Congrats Sterling & Courtney!

We've got Regina King's Emmy acceptance speech HERE in case you missed it.  Also congrats to Key & Peele for winning their first Emmy for Outstanding Variety Series!
