Mystikal Makes Bold Move In Rape Case To Get It Dismissed - 'She's Lying!'

Mystikal - who recently got out of jail on a $3 million bond - just rejected a plea deal in his current rape case and wants it dismissed. Deets inside...

Last month, New Orleans' rapper Mystikal was released after a new record deal, family and friends helped him post a $3M bond after spending 18-months behind bars.

If you haven't heard, the rapper - whose real name is Michael Lawerence Tyler - was wanted, then arrested, for rape and kidnapping charges back in August 2017.

Well, the "Danger" rapper just rejected a plea deal because he feels like the victim accusing him of rape is not telling the truth.  He claims all of that will come to light when the case goes to trial, and he's hoping the case will get dropped altogether.

Joel Pearce - Mystkal's lawyer - told TMZ he met with Caddo Parish, Louisiana prosecutors and they reportedly offered him a deal that he eventually rejected.

The aggravated rape charge, which carries a life sentence, would be reduced to simple third-degree rape ... with a 25-year max sentence. He says they'd also drop the second-degree kidnapping charge.

In exchange, Mystikal would have to plead guilty to felony simple rape ... which Pearce says he's unwilling to do. Offer rejected.

Mystikal and his defense team believes the victim has "major credibility issues" and her "lies" will be exposed in court. The trial is set to start in May, however, plea negotiations are still ongoing.

This isn't the first time the "Shake Ya A**" rapper has been accused of sexual misconduct. He spent six years in prison (2003-2010) after pleading guilty to sexual battery and extortion. He also spent another three months in jail for domestic abuse battery back in 2012.
