Festival Headlining Queen Cardi B Leads With 21 Nominations For 2019 Billboard Music Awards!

Cardi B is gunning for the crown at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards!

The "Money" raptress leads the pack with whooping 21 nominations, raking up the most nominations than any other artist. She won her first Billboard Music Award last year, copping the Top Rap Female Artist award.

Billboard Music Awards host Kelly Clarkson and duo Dan + Shay kicked off the nominations this morning, live on NBC’s “Today" show.

Bardi is running against herself in three categories - Top Selling Song, Top Collaboration and Top Hot 100 Song. She's also in the running for Top Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Female Rap Artist, and her album, Invasion of Privacy, scored her a nod in the Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Rap Album categories.

Bardi hopped on Instagram with a reaction after being nominated 21 times:


Drake and Post Malone tie for second-most nominations this year with 17 each, both nominated in many of the same categories, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.

Travis Scott received 12 nominations, followed by the late XXXTENTACION with 10 and Ariana Grande with nine.

The 2019 Billboard Music Awards will broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Wednesday, May 1st at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.




The "I Like It" rapper will be headlining this year's Made In America Festival alongside rapper Travis Scott. The two-day event (curated by Hip Hop mogul Jay Z) will go down during Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia. Other acts include Juice WRLD, Kodak Black, Megan Thee Stallion, Blueface, James Blake, Roddy Ricch, and Anderson .Paak.

The Bronx native and upcoming Hustlers movie star will also hit the stage this summer for HOT 97's Summer Jam, one of the year’s hottest hip hop shows, along with fellow rapper Meek Mill.

That bag is secured all 2019. Yerrr!
