Beyoncé is reviving Ivy Park with the help of Adidas and it's going to be EPIC. Hold on tight to your wigs! We think the BeyHive leader has something else up her sleeve as well. Let's discuss inside...
Chick is not done taking all your money.
Beyoncé is gearing up for an(other) athleisure takeover! Mrs. Carter just signed a lucrative deal with Adidas where she will be a creative partner for the brand, develop new signature footwear and apparel, AND she'll relaunch her own brand Ivy Park in conjunction with the company.
You'll recall, Bey and Parkwood Entertainment pulled a boss move when they ended their 50/50 Ivy Park partnership with Sir Philip Green's Topshop after buying out the company. Green was accused of sexual harassment, bullying and racial abuse, so the "ApeSh*t" singer cut ties with that bad business with the quickness.
Now, she's on to bigger and better things.
"This is the partnership of a lifetime for me," Beyoncé said in a statement. "Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader."
Ivy Park 2.0 will include an array of performance and lifestyle products. Not only that, the brand will launch a unique purpose-driven program focused on empowering and enabling the next generation of athletes, creators and leaders. Duh. We all know Bey champions for the next generation.
Like we said, this partnership is EPIC being that Bey will continue her journey as one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand, which she launched two years ago. Still breaking barriers!
Oh, and get this, Adidas' shares have reportedly already risen 1.35%.
Mrs. Carter seemingly has more surprises up her sleeve. Sources tell US Weekly that she has new music on the way. Right now, though, the project is not being considered "an album." However, the source claims she recorded a “couple of new tracks [for] a deluxe album filled with old songs.”
Hmm. Sounds like somebody could just be running with that non-leak leak a few months back.
She's also rumored to be working with Netflix on a new documentary that “will be tied to her Coachella 2018 performance” with additional footage. Bihhhhh! Beychella is coming to Netflix!
We all know when Bey starts making appearances, she's gearing up to release something. Chick has been hitting up events more than usual. She was front and center with her husband Jay Z to accept the Vanguard award at the 2019 GLAAD Awards and then she popped up at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards where she was named entertainer of the year.
FUN FACT: Bey & Jay celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary today.

The Carters have been nominated in three categories at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards: Top Touring Artist, Top R&B Tour, and Top Rap Tour. In movie news, Bey will be making a splash at the box office in Disney's The Lion King remake, where she voices Nala, when it hits theaters July 19th.
