"Love & Hip Hop" star/rapper Brittney "Bri" Taylor is setting things into motion to file a lawsuit against her co-star Remy Ma for allegedly physically assaulting her. More inside...

Things aren't looking good for Remy Ma, if these reports end up being true.

A day after Remy was spotted with some new ankle jewelry, her "Love & Hip Hop" co-star Brittney "Bri" Taylor is seemingly gearing up to a build a case against her. Sounds like she's ready to sue.

Bri claims Remy punched her in the face backstage at a NYC concert earlier this month. And now, she's trying to get her hands on any evidence to support her claims.

According to TMZ, Bri filed legals documents asking Irving Plaza and the NYPD to hold on to any video footage, photos, investigative reports and any other evidence in connection to her alleged physical altercation with the "Melanin Magic" rapper.

After the alleged assault, Brittney (who had a black eye) went to the hospital and filed a police report.  This led to cops reportedly investigating Remy, who is currently on parole after serving six years in prison for attempted murder.

The alleged attack happened on April 16th. Today, Bri posted a picture from that day, posting the date in the caption:

Remy hasn't been arrested, but she is now wearing an ankle monitor on her leg.

It's possible she has been forced to wear it since there's an active investigation allegedly and possibly involving her while she's on parole. While the "All The Way Up" rapper hasn't addressed the situation, her camp claims "there's no validity to this story."

This is getting ugly...
