Kings of the North, First of their names, Protectors of the 6, Makers of history, Slayers of dynasties. Champions.

Get into the Toronto Raptors' extra lit NBA championship celebrations after last night's win, and Drake's too.

It's official. The Toronto Raptors just secured their first NBA Championship title in franchise history! It might have taken some decades, but, God's Plan.

Kawahi Leonard & Kyle Lowry led the team to a tumultuous and nerve-wrecking Game 6 win last night at The Oracle, coincidentally closing a historic chapter in the Bay as well as the Golden State Warriors will be moving to San Francico next season.

Being down a team leader in Kevin Durant, another Warriors' leader went down at a crucial point in the game. Klay Thompson ended up leaving the game for good, and Steph Curry, Draymond Green and the others were left to hold it down to create a Game 7.

Steph had a post-game smile on his face though when he got a phone call from the man who's been doing the absolute most all series, Raptors ambassador Drake.

The locker room celebrations for the Warriors though - epic.  Somebody's got mad liquid damage to their phone:

Worth it. The streets of the 6 turned into the city that never sleeps:

While the ballers were cutting up in the locker room, Drake was out in Jurassic Park living out all his hoop dreams, giving interviews like he just left the court and everything.

This guy.

Then he went on IG live to roast folks and promise 2 new songs.

Gotta love him.

It was a long road for these two champs to get here. Now, in a newly revealed text exchage between Kawahi and Kyle Lowry right after dramatic shakeup that sent Kyle's bestie Demar Rozan to the Spurs in a trade for a not fully healthy Leonard, we see that they were about that ring, no matter what.

"I texted Kyle, probably a day later or the day I got traded, and told him, 'Let's go out and do something special. I know your best friend left, I know you're mad, but let's make this thing work out,'" Leonard said to media after Game 6.

Kawhi, who already has one championship under his belt with San Antonio, copped MVP as well:

Nice.

The championship parade commences in the 6 on Monday. Congrats again on making history, fellas!
