Alex Rodriguez made some comments about Idris Elba that are...interesting. More inside...

So apparently former MLB player Alex Rodriguez didn't watch HBO's hit series "The Wire" much because he called Idris Elba "the black guy" from the series.

Sir, the cast was mostly made up of black men.

While chopping it up with Sports Illustrated recently, Alex Rodriguez dished about the A-listers who were seated at his Met Gala table, which included Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina, Kylie & Kendall Jenner, and Henry Golding.

So here's what he said:

“We had a great table,” he shared. “The black guy from ‘The Wire’ — Idris Elba, yeah, and his new wife [Sabrina Dhowre]. Some famous singer next to me, I don’t know what her name is. Versace — Donatella. We had Kylie and Kendall. And we had an Asian gentleman from ‘Rich Asians,’ the lead.”

BRUH! The black guy from "The Wire?" Which one? LOL

And the Asian gentleman he was referring to was “Crazy Rich Asians” actor Henry Golding.

He also spilled on what Kylie Jenner was chatting about at the table:

“Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is,” he shared.

Oh? We aren't surprised in the least bit.

However, Kylie tweeted that wasn't true.

Welp. There you have it.

On the magazine circuit....
