Rapper YG's Hollywood Hills home got raided by police, resulting in one person being arrested. More inside...

Rapper YG is in some mess!

This morning, the L.A. County Sheriff Department secured a search warrant and raided the "Go Loko" rapper's Hollywood Hills home in connection with a deadly shooting involving a vehicle that was registered to the rapper.

The police were searching the home for evidence in connection with the car chase and deadly shooing that injured an officer earlier this month. On July 3rd, shots were fired from a black Cadillac Escalade, striking a deputy. An innocent bystander was killed during the crossfire between police and the shooter, which led to a high-speed chase.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies didn't waste any time to get inside the rapper's bachelor's pad, smashing through glass windows and storming the residence.

According to reports, the house is leased by YG, but he was not detained, nor was he present during the raid.

Sources told The Blast, deputies were searching for security footage from his home to see if the "Stop Snitchin" rapper's alibi added up about him not being involved in the incident. They were also looking for evidence of weapons and ammunition.

At the time, he said, “I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened.”

The site reports:

Sources tell us investigators have questioned YG, through his attorney, about the rapper's security footage looping after 72 hours, which could have possibly erased the video evidence of his alibi.

We're told the LASD homicide unit is conducting the search with assistance by the sheriff's gang task force, Operation Safe Streets.

After the raid, one person was reportedly arrested for a weapons charge and several others were handcuffed and placed in patrol cars while deputies searched the house.

We noticed he deleted all of his social media posts, except his Nipsey Hussle post and a new post promoting his clothing company that he put up today:

Back in June, he was hancuffed by police for reckless driving right before the 2019 BET Awards.
