The "Dear White People" season 3 premiere was filled with #BlackExcellence. Go inside for the red carpet flicks and the new trailer inside...
The gang's all here!
The "Dear White People" Volume 3 premiere went down at the Regal LA Live in LA, and the cast was front-and-center to show off their fashion flare on the red carpet before the new season dropped on Netflix. Volume 3 is now available on the streaming giant and fans are eager to see what type of drama unfolds.
Lead star Logan Browning, who plays Samantha White, rolled up on the carpet to celebrate the new season with her co-stars. On the show, White has given up her beloved "Dear White People" radio show, but, no worries. Her bestie Joelle (played by Ashley Blaine Ferguson, below) has stepped in to take over, promising listeners the "same title, new spin." Ooo...we wonder what she has up her sleeve.
On the carpet, Ashley Blaine Featherson - who has a teamed up with Mented Cosmetics for a new collection, posed it up in blue mini dress.
"DWP" star Antoinette Robertson, who plays Coco, will deal with some major changes this season. She'll reportedly face someone from her past who will remind her who she really is. Sounds deep.
"DWP" actress Nia Jervier, who plays Kelsey, will get a more beefed up storyline this season.
"DWP" hottie Brandon P. Bell will start a new gig at Pastiche, the campus' satire-based publication. We're sure he'll be stirring up drama with his articles.
"Dear White People" creator Justin Simien - who also created the 2014 film Dear White People - made his way on the carpet in an edgy 'fit.
And so did "Dear White People" star Griffin Matthews.
For the afterparty....
Actress Yvette Nicole Brown made her way through the party, snapping it up with the "Dear White People" cast.
"DWP" actor John Patrick Amedori was in the mix with creator Justin Simien, Yvette Nicole Brown and Antoinette Robertson.
"Dear White People" creator Justin Simien hit the stage to speak to the audience before showing some episodes from the new season.
The "Dear White People" Volume 3 trailer dropped recently, featuring music form Houston hottie Megan Thee Stallion. Check it below:
