The great debate! Folks have been going back and forth with one another of these viral Top 50 Greatest Rappers and Top 50 Greatest R&B Singers lists, which caused rapper Wale and singer Donell Jones to remind folks to put some respeck (no typo) on their names. See it inside...

A Rap list and R&B list listing the musical greats in chronological order for their greatness have gone viral and folks are heavily debating about the placement of their faves. People have been sounding off about who they think should be higher on the lists, who shouldn't even be on the lists, and the legends that SHOULD have been added to the lists that were left off.

Check out the Top 50 Greatest Rappers list - created by "The Brew Podcast" with the caption "Let's Argue" - below:

As the Top 50 Greatest Rappers list started gaining legs on social media, rapper Wale decided to share where he feels he falls on the list.

"I’m one of the greatest rappers of all time," Wale - who didn't make the list - tweeted. "There I said it..."

Then, he went on to explain why he's the greatest:

HOT 97 radio personalities Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg joined in on the discussion, posting their hand written lists:

Music heads have been lighting Wale's mentions up on Twitter about why he wasn't included on the list. However, the D.C. rapper doesn't care about y'alls opinions.

Since he started trending after his "I'm one of the greatest" tweet, he also threw in a plug for his new single:

Ha!

Rapper-turned-podcaster Joe Budden also responded to people who were shocked to see him so high up on the list:

Teehee.

Rapper Snoop Dogg - who came in at #34 - also reacted to the list:

People were HOT the late and great Prince didn't even make the list. R&B singer Donell Jones was left off the list as well. And he responded with facts and receipts about why he's the greatest:

"I don’t concern myself with list that’s based on opinion cause I’m all about facts..... and here’s a fun fact... I MADE HISTORY IN 1999 AND 2000 I HAD THE LAST #1 RECORD OF THE OLD MILLENNIUM AND THE FIRST #1 RECORD OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM AND THAT WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN UNTIL THE YEAR 3000.... THIS IS A FACT NOT AN OPINION LOL SO I GOT 980 YEARS BEFORE IT HAPPENS AGAIN.... YOU KNOW WHAT’S UP!!," he captioned.

Oop.

With the music lists taking over the Internet, reality TV executive producer Carlos King created his Top Reality Stars list:

Hmm...who did he leave off? Sound off in the comments!
