Hosea Chanchez, former star of "The Game," is coming forward with an extremely disheartening and disturbing story about being molested by a friend's father at the age of 14.  He names him as well. Read what he had to say inside.

Before starting his acting career in the late 90's, Hosea Chanchez grew up in Atlanta (despite being a Montgomery, Alabama native). Now, the 37-year-old is recounting horrific incidents of molestation from when he was a child.

The actor, who recently showed up in episodes of "All American" and "Black Lightening," took to social media to share his disturbing story that he previously alluded to it plaguing him for years.

TRIGGER WARNING: Graphic content involving molestation is discussed.

In an open letter posted across his social media accounts, Hosea alleges that the father of one of his friends had often spoken inappropriately with him about his  "big d--k" that he bet "could c-m a lot” and "drive girls crazy." Hosea also said the person often asked him about his personal life involving girls, sex and more.  He said the person, whom he does explicitly name, only did so when they were alone. It appeared to be the type of "grooming" predators do to test to see how much they can get away with before their victim tells someone, if they tell anyone at all.  This behavior also can desensitize the victim into thinking this is normal behavior between an adult and child.

Hosea revealed:

"On This one day in particular, he insisted on taking me home, I knew something wasn’t right, my intuition was telling me it’s not right but I got in the car anyways. Shortly after the drive began he detoured and pulled down a dirt road, pulled over and said he wanted to talk to me about school and what my plans for my future are. He worked at a university so he said he’s only looking out for me and my future. Then out of nowhere He said he wanted to see what the girls are going crazy over, then he reached over unzipped my pants and told me to trust him. I remember he kept saying trust me you will like it, he pulled out my penis put it in his mouth and molested me in his car. When he finished he said, it don’t mean nothing if a guy gives you a blow job, it’s not intercourse, so it’s not sex. Then he told me he’s a very powerful man and if I’d ever told anyone he would ruin my life and no one would believe me anyways. I was 14, a young boy, a child.

He says he's coming forward now because he can't let the man he named leave this earth without knowing what Hosea says he's done.

"I’m choosing to come forward with it now in hopes that my TRUTH helps to free someone else from guilt and shame at the hands of a predator, rapist, pedophile. I hope it helps to stop someone else from being molested, raped, assaulted and taken advantage of as a kid"

Im Hosea chanchez and when I was 14 years old I was molested BY my friends father. This man is a predator, preying on children who’s trust he’s falsely built through lies, manipulation, threats and secrets. I hope this truth helps to stop child molesting predators from sexually assaulting more children. Pedophiles have no place in our society they hide in the open and rape children who are afraid to speak up because of shame, guilt, fear, denial and the thought that no one will believe them. Im doing this to help parents and young children become aware of some of the signs and better protect themselves from sexual predators. (Swipe to read my TRUTH)

This is completely disheartening to hear, especially to know the effect sexual assault and molestation has on a child for the rest of their lives.

We hope people refrain from asking "Well, what were you wearing?" and saying statements like, "Why'd you wait so long to tell? You must be lying." These are statements that victims, especially those who are girls and women, hear virtually anytime they come forward.

We also appreciate him speaking up because indirectly, this helps other assaulted people - especially assaulted women - be believed. After reading Hosea's story, one can see that often times victims do, in fact, hold on to this secret for so long. It does not mean they are lying.

It happens to so many young people everyday. Girls especially, no matter how young, are often blamed for their own molestation. We hope this story helps people see the error in their way of thinking and it helps to change the narrative around victims of assault.

Hosea's fellow actor friends Naturi Naughton and Jill Marie Jones showed their support as well:

We applaud Hosea for telling his truth.
