Here goes the justice system with that BS. Botham Jean’s sister is speaking out following news that his killer/former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger’s murder trial could be delayed. Deets inside…

The trial for former Dallas officer Amber Guyger - who shot and killed her black neighbor Botham Jean in his apartment – is set to star Monday. However, the powers that be are trying to have the murder trial delayed. The sister of Botham Jean – Alyssa Findley – says it’s unfair to delay the trial out of respect for Jean’s family.

“No, we’re not okay with a delay, because delaying the trial delays us from grieving. I think our life has been disrupted since Sept ember 6 (2018). I think it’s insensitive for him to say that,” Findley said.

Amber Guyger’s trial is set to begin on Monday, September 23rd in Dallas. Both of Botham's parents are in Dallas ahead of the trial:

You'll recall, Amber was arrested for the fatal shooting of 26-year-old college graduate Botham Jean inside of HIS apartment on September 6th. She told investigators she confused his apartment for her own and when he didn't follow her verbal commands when the door was opened (she has changed her story about whether the door was ajar or if Botham opened it), she shot him in the chest, which resulted in his death.

Three days after the shooting, the former officer was brought up on manslaughter charges. She turned herself in and was released two hours later after posting the $300,000 bond. She was placed on paid administrative leave until she was fired weeks later.

What’s really good DPA?!
