The gorgeous Angela Bassett made her way to the 71st Creative Arts Emmy Awards looking like a million bucks. The “9-1-1” actress rocked a black and gold printed Ingie Paris sequin gown paired with black Casadei platform heels and an Emm Kuo clutch.
By the way, a new season of “9-1-1” premieres Monday, September 23rd at 8/7c.

“This Is Us” actor Sterling K. Brown and his actor wife Ryan Michelle Bathe – who stars in BET’s “First Wives Club” – pulled up to the event with the coupledom vibes. The YBF actress was tapped to present.

“Orange Is The New Black” actress Laverne Cox hardly ever disappoints on a red carpet and she kept that same energy at the awards ceremony. The LGBTQ activist wowed in a gorgeous black Zac Posen gown. She accessorized her lewk with a Yvan Tufenkijan necklace, Annabel Chan ring, and Harry Kotlar earrings. Love the smokey eye.

RuPaul continues his EMMY Award takeover with his hit show, "RuPual's Drag Race." He won his first Creative Arts EMMY Award in 2016 (which went down in the history books) and he has been scooping up awards ever since.
This year, his show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” won Outstanding Hairstyling for a Multi-Camera Series or Special and Outstanding Costumes For Variety, Nonfiction Or Reality Programming for the episode, “Trump: The Rusical.”
Funnymen Shawn Wayans and Tommy Davidson hit the red carpet before hitting the stage together to present. We see Shawn is looking real snack-ish these days.
Actor Glynn Turman (Aretha Franklin's ex-husband) and iconic actress Cicely Tyson were all smiles as they made their way down the carpet.
Aretha! A Grammy Celebration For The Queen Of Soul won the Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special.
"David Makes Man" star Phylicia Rashad looked like the goddess she is.
"black-ish" actor Anthony Anderson and singer Mario got dapper for the awards ceremony.
"Surviving R. Kelly" star Faith Rodgers as the docu-series was up for an award. However, it didn't land any wins.
Comedian/actress Wanda Sykes brought her wife Alex Sykes as her date. They shared a good laugh with Angela Bassett during the afterparty:
"Suits" star Wendell Pierce stepped out for the awards fun.
"The Get Down" actor Shameik Moore looked fine in all black everything.
Get flt then! "black-ish" star Marcus Scribner kept it Gucci at the event.
"Queer Eye" star Karamo Brown showed his his fashion flare before snapping it up with his co-stars, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, and Bobby Berk:
"Queer Eye" won several EMMYs including, Outstanding Structured Reality Program, Outstanding Directing for a Reality Program “Black Girl Magic," Outstanding Casting For A Reality Program, and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Structured Reality or Competition Program. Congrats!

No wins for Bey's "Homecoming," so that was their mood.
Colin Kaepernick's NIKE "Dream Crazy" commercial won the EMMY for Best Commercial. Also, the controverial "Leaving Neverland" docu-series won Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special.
