Prince Harry Gets Properly Savage With British Tabloids About Their Mistreatment Of Wife Meghan Markle

What you're not going to do is come Prince Harry's wife Meghan Marckle and think he's not going to respond. Peep how he gathered the media inside...

Prince Harry is FED.TF.UP!

So much so, that he’s poppin’ back at those who keep disrespecting his wife Meghan Markle in the British tabloids, much like how they disrespected his mother, Princess Diana.

“Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences – a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son,” Harry said in a statement on Tuesday.

It's true. Since it was announced Harry was dating Meghan, the British media did all they could to try and drag her name through the mud, but it didn't work.  The Duke of Sussex did exactly what a partner should do, and defended her - before they even walked down the aisle - by rightfully calling out the media's racism.

The Duchess of Sussex filed a claim on Sunday against the Daily Mail - and its parent company Associated Newspapers - alleging "the intrusive and unlawful publication of a private letter written by” the former “Suits” actress. Apparently, the Daily Mail published a letter by Meghan to her estranged father, but the suit doesn’t mention it. Meghan's claims include the misuse of private information, infringement of copyright and breach of the Data Protection Act 2018.  Yep, they're getting bolder by the day with the unnecessary intrusiveness into her familial life.

Prince Harry - who's currently touring South Africa with his wife and son - went on to say that he and Meghan have “continued to put on a brave face – as so many of you can relate to – I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been.”

We can only imagine.

He said he has been “a silent witness to her private suffering for too long" and it has to stop.

He continued:

"The positive coverage of the past week from these same publications exposes the double standards of this specific press pack that has vilified her almost daily for the past nine months; they have been able to create lie after lie at her expense simply because she has not been visible while on maternity leave," Harry stated. "She is the same woman she was a year ago on our wedding day, just as she is the same woman you’ve seen on this Africa tour."

Listen, he's not playing:

"To stand back and do nothing would be contrary to everything we believe in," Harry said.

The Duke mentions he doesn't want "history repeating itself," referring to the way his mother died. Harry hasn't been shy about sharing his feelings saying the paparazzi was the cause of his mother's death in Paris 22 years ago.

"Because my deepest fear is history repeating itself," he continued. "I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditized to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces."

"We thank you, the public, for your continued support," Harry concluded. "It is hugely appreciated. Although it may not seem like it, we really need it."

We're glad he stood up for his wife to make sure she's safe. And it just makes us stan (respectfully) even more!
