Raise a glass to Black Excellence! Jay-Z’s inaugural Shawn Carter Foundation gala was a huge success! Go inside to see flicks of everyone, plus how much the gala raised to help students get to college inside…

Jay-Z is not only a businessman (or business, man), he’s also a philanthropist who’s doing the work to help the next generation come up. Over the weekend, the Hip Hop mogul hosted his inaugural Shawn Carter Foundation gala at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. And guess what? The event collected MILLIONS!

Throughout the two-day event, Hov was able to rake in $6 million that would go to his Shawn Carter Foundation. The Shawn Carter Foundation was founded by Hov and his mother, Gloria Carter, in 2003 to help provide low-income students with scholarships, college prep workshops, study abroad opportunities, and more.

And since celebs LOVE partying for a cause, the event was filled with all the Young, Black and Fabulous folks! Beyonce, Tyler Perry, Alicia Keys (who performed), Swizz Beatz, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, Fabolous, Normani, Yo Gotti and tons more were in attendance.

“GMA’s” Robin Roberts served as the Master of Ceremonies during the festivities. Other celebs in the mix included fashion designer Dapper Dan, comedian Michael Blackson, and Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Guests enjoyed D'Usse-inspired cocktails, bomb gourmet meals and a Great Gatsby-themed bash. Celebs even had fun trying their hands at the casino tables via a Black Jack tournament. We knew it was going to be LIT when Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz posted the invitation to the gala, which was accompanied by $40,000 Rolex watches and Ace of Spades Champagne.

“Equipping our youth with the tools to succeed will always be a priority for me and my family," Jay-Z said via the foundation's publicist. "I’m looking forward to continuing that mission at this year’s Shawn Carter Foundation Gala Weekend, where we’ll celebrate our scholars and continue to support young people in a meaningful way.”

During the event, Alicia Keys served up "an intimate one-time-only performance to benefit The Shawn Carter Foundation.”

Beyonce turned heads during Night 1 of the event and she killed it again for Night 2:

Mrs. Carter delivered a second stunning lewk in a feathery, shimmery custom Roberto Cavalli gown that featured beading, metallic sequins and a thigh-high slit:

The "Brown Skin Girls" singer def gave off epic "Great Gatsby" vibes.
