Tiffany Haddish Weighs In On Blueface’s Controversial Skid Row Christmas Gift + Meek Mill Gifts Philly Kids A Shopping Spree

Tiffany Haddish shares her thoughts about Blueface making it rain (in the rain) on Skid Row for Christmas. Find out what she thinks, plus watch Meek Mill bring Christmas cheer to some kiddies in Philly inside....

Rapper Blueface has been catching heat for the way he gave back this holiday season. On the day before Christmas Eve, the “Thotiana” rapper made it rain (in the rain) on Los Angeles’ Skid Row, which has become synonymous with homelessness and poverty. And it was caught on video.

In the clip, Blueface hops on top of his Mercedes G-truck and starts tossing dollar bills in the area as homeless people scrambled to get the dollar bills. Watch it below:

People have been criticizing Blueface for the gesture, with claims that his actions were humiliating to those in need.

Famed author/activist/Temple University Professor Marc Lamont Hill wasn’t feeling it at all:

”Wow. Blueface stood on top of a car and flung money into a crowd of poor people,” Marc tweeted. “This is not ‘the spirit of giving.’ This is contempt of the poor mixed with narcissism. Even if his intentions were good, this isn’t ok. Hopefully he has someone advising him.”

Rapper CupcakKe didn’t like what she saw either:

"He's a real life CORNBALL," she tweeted

A lot of Twitter users weren't with it either:

It has sparked controversy with most folks condemning the rapper for his actions. However, Tiffany Haddish doesn’t see an issue with what he did.

The Like A Boss actress said people who said the act was dehumanizing and degrading obviously didn't grow up in the hood. She said she has known men with money to jump on top of their "best vehicle and make it rain."

"Are they saying it's degrading when the men are in the club throwing money and the women have to pick that money up off the ground with no clothes on? These people are clothed. They're living on Skid Row in tents. Come on," she told TMZ photogs.

The Girls Trip actress said his actions were not unusual and that it was actually "traditional" in her eyes.

"It's a blessing. Money falling from the sky. That's a blessing," she said. "It would have been degrading if he was throwing out ones. But if he's throwing out hunreds, he's possibly making it so someone could get a room for the night to stay in so they don't have to be in the cold. You don't know what blessing that might have helped somebody with."

Hmm...do you think Blueface making it rain on Skid Row was degrading or do you agree with Tiffany?

In other rappers give back news...

Rapper Meek Mill went back to his hometown of Philadelphia to bless a group of kids just in time for Christmas. He teamed up with his home/Sixers owner Michael Rubin and philanthropist Clara Tsai (founding members of the REFORM Alliance) to host a shopping spree at the NBA Store in Manhattan.

The Championships rapper met with families who have been negatively impacted by the criminal justice system at the store to help lift their spirits and spread some holiday cheer. Each child there had a parent who has been locked up for a technical violation probation, meaning they were sent to prison even though they hadn't committed a new crime - something Meek Mill knows ALL about.

DJ Khaled was in the mix to show some fan love:

Oh, and it got better. Patriots owner Robert Kraft (also a founding member of the REFORM Alliance) had the team's private plane pick the families up to watch the Pats in an NFL game in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
