After the arrest of former officer Derek Chauvin, Beyoncé posted a message about the murder of George Floyd that we all witnessed.

“We need justice for George Floyd,” she began in the video posted on Instagram. “We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We’re broken and we’re disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain"

The “Freedom” singer then called on everyone – black, brown or anything in between – to stand up against police brutality.

”I’m not only speaking to people of color. If you’re white, black, brown, or anything in between, I’m sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now. No more senseless killings of human beings. No more seeing people of color as less than human. We can no longer look away.”

She continued:

“George is all of our family in humanity. He’s family because he’s a fellow American. There have been too many times that we’ve seen these violent killings and no consequences. Yes, someone has been charged but justice is far from being achieved.”

The LEMONADE singer then encouraged people to sign a Change.org petition to demand justice for George Floyd. You can sign it here.

Killer Mike is currently trending on Twitter for giving an impromptu speech during last night's protests in Atlanta. Not everyone is calling him a hero though:

Several celebs have traveled to Minneapolis to join in on the protests, including Nick Cannon, Jamie Foxx, Porsha Williams and more. Peep their pics and videos below:

The former 49ers quarterback took to his Twitter account to share news about the fund. "In fighting for liberation there's always retaliation. We must protect our Freedom Fighters," he tweeted.
