The man accused of killing Black Lives Matter activist Oluwatoyin "Toyin" Salau has reportedly admitted to killing her (and another woman) during a phone call with his mother. He also revealed how he killed Toyin. The tragic details inside…
19-year-old Oluwatoyin "Toyin" Salau was a very vocal protester helping to lead the Black Lives Matter movement. Sadly, her life was cut extremely short after she was killed in Tallahassee over the weekend.
49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr. was arrested after Toyin and another woman’s body (identified as 75-year-old Victoria Sims) were found in a home he rented in Tallahassee. Aaron tried to flee after the murders, but police were able to capture him on a bus in Orlando by Sunday (June 14th).
Aaron’s mother - Sandra Cutliff – revealed to the Daily Mail her son called her Sunday and confessed to the killings. She told the publication that her son said he met Toyin on a bus and invited her to his house so she could shower. He told his mother Toyin asked him for drugs and when he refused, she allegedly bit him and called him a “n*gger” — sending him into a rage.
“He told me that after she got out of the shower she wanted ‘molly,'” Sandra said. “He told her he wasn’t going to buy it. He said she called him a f—ass n—-r and bit him. That’s what triggered him off.”
It's reported Aaron strangled Toyin to death.
He also admitted to his mother that he killed Victoria Sims last week after she called him a "slob." He became enraged and killed her.
The young activist was reported missing more than a week ago, on June 6th. Toyin was found miles from where she was last seen at a library. Days before she was found dead, Toyin tweeted about being sexually assaulted by a man who posed as a church member. She detailed how he ended up taking her to home and raped her in a series of tweets. Peep the shocking tweets HERE.
rest in power Toyin...I keep telling myself God must be taking up their angels right now so they no longer have to suffer in this hell. But it does little to ease the pain of knowing so many are not safe here. So many beautiful souls. Stop killing black women. STOP. pic.twitter.com/IiXczeUEvX

Aaron's mother said she does not know why her son allegedly committed the double-homicide, but she revealed he suffered from mental health problems. He had been in a psychotic downward spiral in recent weeks, according to the Mail.
Aaron Glee was out on bail when he committed the murders. He had been arrested on May 30th and was charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm. A police officer reportedly spotted him kicking a woman in the stomach after she turned down his sexual advances. She said Aaron offered sexual favors in exchange for two bottles of liquor, but then she changed her mind. That's when he assaulted her. He released on a $2,500 bond on June 1st.
The Tallahassee Police Department issued a statement:
“We would like to extend our deepest condolences to their families and all those who knew them through their individual volunteer work. Each woman was passionate about improving the lives of others. With Salau protesting for justice and policy change with Movement 850 and Sims serving the elderly with AARP.” The TPD also pledged its support and added that it was committed to bringing the person responsible for their murders to justice.
