NFL Training Camp Set To Start, But Players Are Pissed About The Lack Of Coronavirus Safety Precautions

The NFL's training camp is set to start tomorrow (for the rookies), but players are understandably concerned about the lack of safety precautions amid the Coronavirus pandemic. More inside…

The NFL is moving forward with plans to kick off the 2020-21 NFL season. However, players are concerned about the lack of safety measures.

Here’s the pre-season training schedule they’ve laid out for players to return:

July 21st – Rookies

July 23rd – Quarterback and injured players

July 28th – All other players

Today (July 20th), the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans rookies are scheduled to report.

Now, don’t get it twisted. NFL players want to play. However, they have raised concerns via social media about the league’s Coronavirus safety precautions…or lack thereof.

Several NFL players have hopped on social media creating posts with the hashtag #WeWantToPlay. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson opened up about his concerns catching the virus with his wife Ciara being pregnant. In the past, Ciara revealed both kids have asthma, so they are even more at risk.

According to reports, the NFL and the players' union are still negotiating the details of the league's protocols to prevent the spread of the virus. We shall see...
